HAS ANYONE INSTALLED A SPRINT BOOSTER?

I am interested to install a Sprint Booster on my CL600. Has anyone done so and if yes, what is your opinion. Also, how difficult is the installation?
Thanks

Actually I have done it.
Ask for AMG version, that one is for AMG and V12 engines.
Installation is very easy, one trick is to unscrew pedal assembly (one 10 mm bolt) and plug the baby in.
That is it.
I have no idea how this is being done, but the throttle lag is gone. Instant response.
I like the device very much.
Mark.

I just finished installing the Sprint Booster. Fantastic throttle response! Feels like another ECU upgrade!

Can smoke my tires at will! Worth the investment

I just installed one yesterday on my S65, Christ I'll be eating tires off the thing in a matter of days. This little device is worth 3 times what they cost, the response is quite beastly and it really opens your eyes as far as what this cars true potential is.

Yes, you are quite correct with your assessment.
That little gizmo (don't confuse it with gyzmo+#'s - inside joke)
is capable of a little magic. Magic known only to the people who actually installed the....thing.
In my opinion, one of the most underrated upgrades ever.
Just picture this:
Renntech gets a copy rights, puts a label on it and charges, let's say ... $1,900. It's that good.
I'm thinking about installing it on my wife's ML350.
Mark.

Get AMG for sure. With that much power, non AMG version car would be too jerky/sensitive. Unless you have a feather for the foot.

so all it does it makes the gas pedal much more sensitive?
you push half way but its signals full throttle or 70% throttle?

Sprint Booster = No Lag.

Though there are no HP gains, it feels MUCH faster when you need to GO! End of story. LOL!

Why not just push harder on the go peddle?

lol...it doesnt make it more sensitive! with all electronics there is a lag created as the computer has to decipher the corret amount of throttle to apply based on your foot placement...however, the booster simply accelerates the process eliminating the lag time between accel and pedal compression...nothing changes with performance, same gas mileage, same hp, same everything...just faster response to your will!

I've got a big question.
And maybe an idea to a new patent/enterprise.
Can we apply/fit/convert type of sprint booster to our wives? (talking about qiuck response and nothing else changed)

Food for thought.

I'm brave, she is not watching...

Installed the SB this evening in my 600 - really is simple to do and the difference is immediately noticeable. Comfort is now excellent for regular driving and sport really does have an edge - feel more than simply 1st vs 2nd gear, although that's all it is. Reminds me of the sport button on my old e46 M3 - the car turns to evil at the press of a button. It's amazing how a $300 device effectively creates a whole new car - the smoothness a quiet of the 600 with the punch that feels more like an AMG. Fun.

All you need is a flashlight, a flathead screwdriver to remove the pin and a 10mm socket wrench to remove the pedal assembly - really does take 5 mins.
