CL Crash Takes Out Four Cars

Watch it here: CL Crash Takes Out Four Cars

More proof that passing in oncoming traffic is really, really bad idea. It looks like he's trying to split lanes on a two lane street. Not even motorcycles try that stuff. Agility and power cannot help stupid.

That first minivan went right into his fender...he didn't even try to avoid him!!

He had plenty of room to the right of him(going his direction) yet he rammed the CL!!

Agreed. Although the CL was a retarded driver and at fault, the minivan driver didn't hit the front of the car, but instead hit the back bumper of the CL. I think it might have been intentional - for the insurance, since the the crappy minvan worth $1k may have been insured for $2k and it's obvious a CL driver can afford to pay it.

The first car that hits the Merc. Could a different type of car, but that's what we're referring to

It's a newer generation Lexus RX. I don't know why anyone thinks its a minivan, let alone a crappy one.

Also just because it seems obvious from the vantage point of the video as we're all watching it on our computers (especially since we're following behind the CL) it was probably a very different situation in the Lexus. They may not have realized they were going to hit him. If you look at the frame by frame they actually didn't hit him with the front of the car. The CL bounced off the side of the Lexus right near the front. It cleared both headlights.

Frame before impact:

Risk vs reward. Bad call on this type of road with this type of clearance. Note that the Audi driver (black car in front) moved over to avoid this idiot in the MB--excellent and quick response by the Audi driver, who avoided getting sucked into the accident.

Reward is zero + Risk is high= IDIOT

I see you've been suckered by image. Just b/c you see someone in an expensive car, it doesn't mean they are rich. Often times it means they love monthly bills.

I brokered loans in the past in So Cal and saw plenty of credit reports in my time. It was crazy to see the car payments of some relative to their income.

Trust me, there are many millionaires that drive cars we'd turn up our nose at. They do b/c they like their money more than publicly displaying it in the form of a depreciating asset.

Watch it again, now. You can see all the cars driving normally except this Black Audi who was near the middle and went even more to the left upon the CL approaching him.

The black Audi wasn't even driving in his lane and driving in the middle of the road, he saw the CL approaching and tried to cut him off the audi takes another half a lane prior to the CL coming there. Was the Audi trying to block him off from passing?

It looks like the Lexus turns his wheel into the CL.

Okay...you guys are thinking WAY too much beyond this just being a dip**** driving like a dip****, and crashing into a bunch of people that were too unfortunate to be in his way. No matter what the other cars were doing, driving down the middle of the road at high speed in crowded area makes this guy a moron and the cause of the accident. Period. Everything else is just additional damage.

The black Audi could have been just driving and not paying attention to the moron in the CL, and at the last minute tried to jerk out of his way. Plus, I HIGHLY DOUBT that the person in the Lexus TURNED INTO a car coming at them HEAD ON. I mean...come on.

LOL!! Idiotic. Nobody would do that high speed of an accident, where they could get killed, for an auto insurance claim.

Plus, your logic makes no sense. If the CL driver could 'obviously afford it' then why would he be doing a fraudulent auto insurance claim?

Good for them. If they want to take their money with them when they die, let them. And let those be who like to earn and spend instead of coming out and saying they like monthly bills.

You should probably learn to ready correctly. There was no fraudulent insurance claim mentioned. I'm just saying that everyone saw this retard cl driver and made it harder for him/her. Since any accident incurred would be at the fault of the cl I can EASILY see some people who say to themselves "screw this guy, if he hits me its his fault" and then try not to avoid the collision because they know that they'll get a check out of it. - in a court of law that is not fraud because this video proves the cl is at fault in all accounts. I do believe that this accident was avoidable from just the standpoint of other cars

I will spend more time reading when you spend more time with spell check and watching the video you are commenting on. I figured since you were making ridiculous assumptions on the CL driver's wealth and the value of the cars he hit, I would make a few assumptions of my own.

I read you assuming that a guy in a new CL can probably afford to drive like a douche bag because he is in an expensive car. What cracks me up is that you must be missing how many people in big houses and expensive cars are in debt up to their eyeballs and can barely afford to eat. Did the financial crash of 2008/2009 not clear up the fact that most people live beyond their means, and lots don't have a penny saved?

As for the $1k 'minivan', I would like to know when a fairly new Lexus RX sport utility vehicle became such a cheap vehicle to buy? If you can find me more of those for that price, I will gladly buy every one you can find. That 'crappy minivan' is probably worth more than the C230 in your avatar.

You did nothing but presume, since that's all you can do - as did I. For you to even assume that what you say is fact over the motives or actions from a crash video is absurd. It only alludes to, what I presume is your sad, lonely life where to condescend others on the Internet is your only pleasure (That's a presumption).

I hope it feels good; I'm more than happy to oblige your zealotry need to fill your bloodstream with the dopamine of self satisfaction.
