I think it looks great all around. Has a very modern feel to it. I don't quite like their design language across all their lines right now, but this one does flow together somewhat well. I'd drive one if I could afford it...

This is just what Mercedes needed, after the S and C. The car looks so friggin good, if not the best "CL" ever. The lines are so cohesive and just makes the car pop, but in a classy way IMO (unlike the A- and B-Class). I loved the C215, but this is a huge step up in every way.
And THAT interior OMG. Nothing short of friggin' amazing. Just enough to differentiate itself from the S sedan, but still looks almost the same (although being more sporty). Only thing I miss is the little classy analogue clock, but really who cares. Haven't really managed to read up on the engines, but I assume some of them will be carried over. I really wonder if the new V8 is gonna end up under the hood on this one. Can't wait for more pics.

Interior is fantastic! 
Interior on the current generation looks -super- dated.
Exterior... Nice but I guess I expected more of a revolutionary change from the current generation, similar to the concept. There was a big difference between w215 and w216; the entire shape of the car changed between those two generations.
Maybe the windows are smaller because they know an upcoming S-Class-Coupe convertible will be based upon this and require the extra frame space?
If I were sticking w/ MB after this I'd check one out. But the electrical and sensor issues on my CL... I should have purchased 2 of them so I had one to ride when the other was in the shop. Beautiful cars, but never again.

i can only speak for myself but im curious to know if im the odd man out. this is obviously a bad-*** car, that interior is completely insane, the lines are on point. however..i find the w216 exterior more visually appealing. again this is my personal opinion. how many of you guys think the w216 is a nicer looking car?
