Its true! 600+ bhp!

My first CL65 Dyno!

Ink out some of my private details. Done at 36c in the afternoon, a very hot and humid day. Elevation not sure. Done 8 runs. This is the last run.

Thats awesome. I think MB is using a couple of hair dryers for turbos because the torque peaks out so fast and the HP drops off at the top end. There is probably almost no turbo lag, which is why they do it, but man I think those things are giving out fast. This is certainly not typical graphs of a turbocharged engine.

I remember the old 911 graphs with the KKK turbos there was nothing until about 4500 RPMs then this huge spike of power to about 6500.

The hot weather did nothing to help I am sure. You may get a lot more on a cold day.

Rwhp is at 520.1hp but the guy who did it did some weird calculations and gave me this 606hp for this run.

Calculation is done on the dyno dynamics computer and he seems to put in a lot of figures. i dont know what he's doing

Though the hp figure seems normal to me, the torque figure is way higher then claim. I got 768lb/ft instead of the mb claimed 738lb/ft.

I will definately be going for the kleeman stage 1 ecu upgrade now. price quoted to me is really expensive Euro 6850 bucks! Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost normally?

Hey James why the Kleemann and not the Renntech? just wondering what made your decision.

Congrats on the car by the way, I love it. Thanks for the pics!

Theres a Kleeman dealer here but no Renntech. Thats why. Nothing else. I wonder if there's any difference now since going with Kleeman has to send out my ECU anyway..

James my SL65 put down 525 at the rear wheels and another SL65 that we ran on the dyno with a Kleemann tuned ECU laid dow around 546.

Time to clean your glasses! You are not reading it right. The two plots are independently graphed. They use different scales. HP is on the right and Torque is onthe left. If you look again, you will see at 5300, the two are about 580.

Nice!
