possibly on the new body. if they put 550 or 63 engine on the current body in its last year, that would make a great collention car, Mb would probably produce and ship so few of those like the previous w140 coupe , only 15 of them in its lasy my 99, unfortunately nothing special on it.

Nah the CL550 will be a totally new car. The current CL has already gone out of production ahead of the June launch of the new car. What a classy car it was, I just hope MB doesn't mess it up.

MBUSA seems to have issued memos to dealers talking about 4Q06 US launch of CL550. Not clear when 63 will be released.....and whether 63 will be same motor used in cheaper MBs...or a biturbo 63 iteration for the CL/S/SL level.....am planning to get CL65 upon launch; I figure about 6 mos after I get '07 S65 in July....

just wondering, why do you think they use amber colored lens for the rear indicator instead of going clear as the other models are?
