New Cl63 Spy Pics
and CLS65 pics.
i think it will look better then the pics poeple have been posting of what it would look like without the tape.
When the new Mercedes CL will make its debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show, AMG will show their interpretation of the new coupe, the CL 63 AMG, equipped with all kinds of luxury features plus the 6.3-litre V8 returning 514 bhp – the same engine used for the CLS 63 which debuted just after the launch of the standard CLS two years ago.

details
it's a cl65. I can see that from the exhausts. the sl65 has the same ones.
oh, yeah, and take a look above the license plate space. that black strip there covers a chrome strip, just like the new E-Class has one.
that baby's gonna rock!!!

torque
IMO 100 Nm isn't a world! maybe it's just better because of the risk of burning rubber in first gear with the 55komp. with the new engine and the 7g-tranny it could even accelerate in 4.4 to 4.6 sec from 0-62mph.
auto motor & sport tested the clk 63 just some weeks ago and they say that the engine is worth it.

i read the test in the german magazine auto motor & sport. after some time they launch the same article on the web site.
sorry, it's not there yet. If you speak german you could try to get the magazine in a duty free shop at the airport or so.

If this thing looks like the good pic floating around it is going to be hot as hell and probably take some sales away from the CLS....infact my good friend says that if the CL looks good he will trade in his CLS the day the CL is released. I've always loved the big coupe; if it looks good without tape it could be my next car in a few years from now...

the new coupe is also supposed to be as big as the W140 coupe. the W140 was so huge that the german press baptised it "dinosaur". i hope the new one deserves this title as well

I also agree that this is the CL65. MB wouldn`t present the CL63 without presenting the S63 first. This CL65 completes the 65 line.
The 63s will come a little later.
