She's Alive-the Resurrection Of My Cl
SOME OF YOU MIGHT OF KNOWN ABOUT MY CL INVOLVED IN AN HEAD ON ACCIDENT WITH A PORSCHE CAYENNA ABOUT 7 MONTHS AGO. WELL...SHE IS NOW FIXED AND BACK..BETTER THAN EVER BEFORE.

She is definately a keeper now. Not worth selling it for the value it is worth now. Hope the new CL looks like the Camry picture that have been surfacing around so at least this style have another 5 years to it

whats up man..i just wanna say im happy you got your CL back up.. .i have a 2000 CL 500 with the java interior involved in a very very similiar accident as yours.. im so happy cause now i put the new updated lights and i put an amg kit on it and she looks mintttttt man ....she rides the ****ing same and looks like 5 times better im tryin to do the dual exhaust same way you have it what advice or instructions do you have for me? oh.. my damage came out to about 15,000

I managed to scrape the front part of the car .. just the small bumper piece that snaps on with the chrome trim .. I know it snaps off ... can someone let me know before I go sticking screw drivers in there ....

Beautiful job! I've always liked your CL.
I understand that in some of your posts, you've mentioned that you replaced your Wald front bumper with a 03' AMG front bumper. However, the pictures in this post show that it's actually a 02' AMG front bumper on your car.
Did you have to upgrade to another AMG bumper?
I am currently looking at an 03+ AMG bumper but am having a tough time figuring out if it'll fit without major modifications. Do you have any reference to any shop in So. Kali that may be able to do this?

Yea..the body shop couldn't tell the different from an '02 and '03, so when they called me in and say that they already had the front bumper in and painted...it was too late. I told them specifically to make sure they got an 03+ AMG bumper which is a bit wide in height. They did me a big favor so I didn't bother to change it. There wouldn't be any major modification to the bumper, it will fit right on...the only thing is i forget what we call it...but the support on the inside of the bumper that hold the bumper up. I have mine done at AutoNetwork in El Monte here is their number 626-285-5489, ask for Bruce. I had my car done for anout 3 years now so he might not recall. Good luck and let me know if I can answer anymore question or help contact Bruce.

The 2000-2002 headlights are cloudy looking and only the 2003+ are clear. I have mine done when my car was involved in the accident and had them upgraded to the 03+ headlights. I had mine done at Autonetwork in Los Angles.

One more question please. Does the inside support, mesh, and fog lights on my CL500 have to be changed regardless of which AMG front bumper (00-02' or 03+) I get? From what you stated in my other post, it looks like no matter which AMG bumper I choose to go with, it's big money after all?
