'04 CL600 for $59,000
Just spoke with a dealership. They have my ideal car, black on black 2004 CL600. Its got 25,000 miles on it and its fully loaded (heated steering wheel, keyless go, sport package). He gave me a price of $59,000 for it. How far down do you think I can get him to go and what should I look for or ask for?
I know this is an AMG forum but you guys are great here so yeah lol.
And the dealership happens to be a RennTech installer so you know where thats going lol...

that seems like a pretty good price..... about 1 month ago I looked at a Starmarked 2004 cl600 sport, 18k miles, perfect condition and they were asking 72k, but were willing to sell it to me for 64,700 (mercedes dealer)

If the dealer that you're talking about is Massapequa, then you're in good hands with them. I've used them in the past and I get my current '04 Renntech CL600 serviced there. They are very open-minded with mods; they can do the Renntech ECU/TCU upgrade for you.
Early to mid $50s sounds like a good number, but you should try to get them to extend the warranty to 100k miles.

Unfortunately, I can't do the deal because I need to use the money on an investment opportunity that just popped up . At 18, I guess I have to use some self control.
So, if anybody wants this car, call up and ask for Phill, this looks like a sick car.
And yeah, the whole RennTech thing is what really got me attracted to that dealership.
I guess I'll just have to wait it out and stick with my POS CLK...but I will be back with a kickass ride.
And don't worry Adam, I'm sure I'll be dealing with you in due time lol.

Are you serious about you being 18? That's pretty funny; you're supposed to be 21 to be a member of mbworld, lol ! Maybe your parents can help get the CL600, lol..

18 years old!!!! I have shoes older than 18 years. When I was 18 the only car I could look at buying was a Chevy Vega 0-60 in 4.6 minutes instead of 4.6 seconds. The world has really changed.

Cool. I wasn't trying to acuse you of anything, just was wondering since you said you were stuck with the CLK and there are other cars listed--so I assumed must be family members.

I went to that dealer on Saturday. I asked if I could see that CL600 (just because I wanted it so damn much) and the owner fell in love with his car again and decided to keep it lol. But I'm on the list so I'll be notified of anything that comes up.
It was a great dealership, very friendly. They had a silver SL65 RennTech Stage II outside with a full carbon fiber interior. I was in awe. I don't know where Ben Treynor lives, but if he is on the East coast then maybe this is his car?
