Just found out my car was finished being built! Even though we tried, I don't think mine is going to have the 030 performance package (they say the first builds will not have it). I did see however I am getting the 20" AMG wheel upgrade that comes with the performance package. Mine is Arctic White, savannah interior, with black piano wood interior. The salesman said there is still a chance that it has the 030 package, which the carbor fiber interior then overrides the black wood, because he didn't think the wheels were an option without the 030 package. It would be nice to get the delimiter and few other features, but I can live without it if I get those amazing wheels. Plus I guess I'll save a little money! It should be here at the end of the month. I live in Jacksonville, FL so I may be one of the first in Florida to get mine. I'll post pics when she arrives!

Congtats on the new ride. The build date for my CL63 is Monday, May 7th.

Again, congrats on the completion of your 63. I was wondering how long ago you put down your deposit and when where you called to place the order? I gave my dealer a $1000 deposit in Sept. 2004, and all I get is an "I don't know" whenever I ask when my turn will come to place my order. I'm frankly a little miffed at this answer. To be honest, they haven't asked me for a dime! They said my word was good enough. I didn't feel so comfortable with that so I have been on top of my salesman about every two weeks for the past five months. The only REAL consolation I have is that I have seen with my own eyes on Mercedes' database that two Cl63's are coming to my dealership and the first one is fully spec'd out with my options. There is also a line in the comment field that says SOLD.....Dr. Corral. So I guess I'm comfortable with that. Like I said I have seen the database in detail. And as of last Thursday, there were approximately 40-70 finished Cl63's. These cars were all under the category of PRODUCED but not SHIPPED. Since mine has one of the first build date's I expect it to be on the first ship out of Germany with the rest of the first Cl63's. Unlike others on this site have stated, I did NOT see any under the heading of "in shipping". I don't know about your dealership, but I would definitely ask to see this database so you may determine how up front the dealership is being with you.

P.S. I only asked to order the car in Nov!

My salesman just called. My new white monster will be here in the middle of next week. MSRP 144,875! WOW. Do you guys think he'll throw in an extended warranty and an extra set of mats? That's the least I should get for paying MSRP huh?

My White CL63 is now in Jacksonville, Fla for some kind of prep and then will be shipped to the dealership. Should have the ride by June 1. The dealer is going to put chrome wheels on the rocket. Can't wait. Anyone need a very nice 2005 E55?
