Let me preface this story with the fact that i have no video, sorry, but relative to the recent "Gustav" M6 videos I thought it appropriate since my car on paper makes as much HP as a healthy SL65. On the highway today i see a white M6 with Virginia tags....I slow down to let him pull up, he didnt go at first but finally took the bait and we went from about a 60MPH roll, after that we did multiple rollons all from over 60MPH and two ending at 160MPH....now according to theory I should be "out of my power band" and "out geared" as compared to the M6, especially if we started as high as 60+ Now I must say the M6 is a very fast car and i did experience its top end pull, other cars that trap in its range of 115-117 might not hang with this car up top, but that being said he was absolutely no match for my car anywhere in my power band at any RPM, I even lifted a few times because of traffic and was able to reel him back in and overtake with ease. Nothing but respect for the driver as he was a good sport, gave me the big thumbs up and we parted.

Not surprising since our tuned 600's have over 500 RWHP from around 3,800 to redline. That's a pretty damn wide power band. He would need a few additional gears to match the power your car is putting to the ground.

Good one Jay.
I wonder if he writes it up somewhere.
Gustav will ban his sorry butt from the M5 board.

Well Jay, thats nice and all but I'm not impressed because I know that above 195mph the M6 would have taken you due to its 7th gear

Next time try to get it on video so you can shove it in Gustav's face.
