Hey guys and gals, picked it up two days ago. What a ride! Black/black- black ash wood. Just had the dvd override installed-cool. Can't wait to break her in and let her rip. Was thinking of getting one for a while, but i read the autocar review that said the ride was too stiff, so i stayed away, eventhough most reviews said it had a comfortable ride. so i finally got the chance to test drive one- ill never read autocar again.

That same Autocar "review" complained of wind noise, that I have yet to experience, as the CL63 is dead quiet well over the speed limit. Another article I read complained that the car lacked road feel and also didn't sound like it had over 500 horsepower which makes me think the reviewer never drove a CL63. The car is incredible and you will be back here shortly extolling its virtues. Congratulations and enjoy !

Bro , wtf are you saying ? if you're planning to rip your car and you want it to be fast don't break it in , you have to start ripping it now for it to be fast , been proven 10000 times already , and by me personaly

Did you prove it in your ML500 Sport or your Maxima?

There are two ways to go on the dvd. The first and cheapest( the one i chose$300) is to flip a switch, anytime while driving-but u have to turn it off before turning off the car or the radio will stay on , but u can then push the power button to turn it off (the radio). The second way($700) is just to haveit play anytime while driving(a module has to be installed.) By the way, the first method causes the gps (and the cruise control maybe)to stop working, because the car does not know u r moving. I chose the cheaper way because i mostly listen to talk radio and sell my cars after a few months. Also the guy who did the install is a full time mercedes tech and offered to swap later if i wanted to. Talk to u soon guys.

Awesome car, enjoy it. My friend is a GSM at a Mercedes dealer around where I live and I got a test drive. The car is smooth as silk yet very fast.

I dont think its natv, the tech doesnt deal with them. However he did mention he had to order the module from ca. if i wanted it.

Can you inquire deeper? Nothing on the forum. If a dealer can get it for 700, we can probably get it for 350. Can you find out what this secret box is called for us.

I've posted pics of the maybach under Maybachpat- my son does the photo posting for me. (i like to use 35mm) It was in the maybach section last year. My wife is lucky to get a ml350. No just kidding. She feels uncomfortable driving a high end car. We have two kids( two more from prior marriage) and the phaeton is coming off lease this month, so we do need a beach car. $700 includes labor for the installation of the module. So i dont know the cost of the module or the brand.

hey envy, the VW was a really nice car at the time but it feels dated now. I think ur s500 is a better car-more comfortable. Also i leased it for 699 a month.
