Nice car...they must have been smoking crack while they were typing the price. Better yet anybody willing to pay that much over MSRP is smoking crack.

We know that both got luxury

both got appeal
both got ellegance
both got the looks
both got the name

but the other one has a 600Hp engine and all the goodies like big brakes CF and all the good stuff

just remember the Maybach is a car that your driven in

and the Cl65 is a drivers car

just my 0.02 cent

but for me the answer is the Cl65 im just inlove with Power and CF

Isn't that the correct price, or near the MSRP price of the CL65 40th Anniversary edition? I know it is around $300,000.

Either way, what a waste of money.

Anyone who can blow money away like that is dealing crack or the Wall Street equivalent! These sleds will have very limited resale value once the next buyer learns how much it costs to repair a scratch in the painted bumper.

If that would be the case, the MSRP on that 'special edition' should be below the MSRP of a C300..

I dont quite understand what the CF hooplah is about. I'm getting carbon in my CL63 being built in a few days, whats the biggie?

I told you guys long ago if you order the $7000 Performance package - 030 option, you get the option of carbon if you so choose, the same wheels as the 65, no limiter, beefier steering wheel and limited slip. You can even sell the new wheel take offs for $5500 if you are going aftermarket as i am; making the net a mere $1500. As for grandma's quilted seats and door panels...I'll pass anyways. I can see that look working in a Bentley Mulliner, but a performance sports coupe? Pass.

For the price of that CL65 you could buy a CL63, a CLK black, and a ML63 and still have enough left over to fly to Europe and pick them up personally.

as for the the Alu paintjob, I'd prefer the one that they did to the Sema m3 a few years ago ($13,000) in terms of luster and pizzaz if attention was what I was after.
