on two th.....seemed like the 63 driver jumped the poor 55,
Thanks for the vids, further proof the 6.3 aint a dog like many in this forum proclaimed.
ok I watched several times and realized the CLS 55 had a passenger!
thi would make the two cars closer in weight.
looks like the 55 may have some mechanical issues as it gets pulled on every run.
The 55 needs the jump to stay in front and the driver seems to not be aable to react quick enough to gain any advantage. He was the counter you would think he would anticipate three..

I'd rather agree with Juice. The CL63 weighs around 4500 lbs curb weight whilst the CLS55/63 are 4,000 or 4,100 curb lbs.
You're talking 400-500 lbs lighter! AND the CL is based on the heavy S class sedan base with much more luxurious appointments and features than the CLS.
CLS55 has more torque than CL63.
Who do you think would be faster? I say CLS63/55.

You name it i've had it or got it...
well i'm not sure what was worse...the fact the guy starts before the count everytime...or the fact that each time the old guy in the cls actually waited for the count...even after the guy had taken off and done so everytime. or maybe he is so old his reflexes are slightly delayed or just nonexistent. i mean come on...fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on me...fool me three times i should shoot myself and not be around for a fourth time. also lets take into fact the guy driving the cls...by the looks and the way he consistently proved himself to not be a good drag racer...i'm sure his tcu has reprogrammed itself into limp mode.

the weight may not be that extreme of a diff, likely 200-300 lbs, in this vid the CLS has a passenger, so it is now likly near as heavy. The driver of the CL also leaves a tik prior to three...

The dude in the CL is a cheater though. He was probably EXTREMELY worried about losing to a "lesser" car and made sure he got the jump each time. I wonder why no complaints by the old dude.

the CL jumped big time but the whole time it also pulled on the CLS. The new trans on 63 cars makes a huge difference specially from a roll race, it seems to be always downshifting in the sweet spot of the engine power.

The guy was like 100 years old...give him a break!! Actually he did complain. You were not allowed to see it because like his foot that hits the gas....his comments were delayed. I bet later on at dinner he was like....hey...you just jumped the gun on that run and his friend was like...dude!!! that was 4 hours ago.
