2003 CL 55 AMG Steering Wheel!!!!
Does anyone know if the steering wheel in the 2003 CL 55 AMG will be leather and wood or just leather? If just leather is it possible to order one with wood and leather????

In the 2003 CL class brochure, pg 14 and 15 have pictures of a CL 55 AMG which shows the steering wheel as being all leather. Any insight as to why? Also is the leather and wood steering wheel something i needed to request from my salesperson or is it standard?

Good eye ! Wow... From the brochure, you are right. It looks like the CL55 DOES NOT get the wood/leather sterring wheel this year. Just leather. The options in the back of the brochure show the wood/leather steering wheel as not being available on the CL55...
Anyone have any further info on this ?

MBUSA.com's build-your-own feature shows the wood wheel as a $799 option on the '03 CL55.
Also per the site, the heated wheel is not an option on the CL55, but is a $400 option on the 500 and 600.

I saw a 2003 CL 55 at a dealer in Northern Va. 2 weeks ago.
It definitely had an all leather wheel. No wood/leather combo.
I was disappointed. It seems that the trade off for the speed shift buttons is the reason. I saw it with my own eyes!
