What we are witnessing here is unreal.... simple truth... nobody knows these cars and dealers are afraid to stock them.. the market is too sensitive on them... hell I love them and think they are the greatest cars built and at these prices a lot of people will soon find that out since they are getting very cheap......

These stats are sad for current owners, but beautiful for those like me waiting like a buzzard on an old tree about to pounce on 1, personally can't wait for the new SL to debut and the bottom will fall out like the CL's & S class are currently doing

I found that out when I traded my sl65 for my Range Rover. Right now is not the time to buy any New high-end Benz unless your happy with totally ridiculous depreciation. That combined with some of the worst customer service and regular service I have ever experienced in my life at the Daytona dealership will keep away from Mercedes for a while. But I will always enjoy this forum.

I found that out when I traded my sl65 for my Range Rover. Right now is not the time to buy any New high-end Benz unless your happy with totally ridiculous depreciation. That combined with some of the worst customer service and regular service I have ever experienced in my life at the Daytona dealership will keep away from Mercedes for a while. Test drove a 05 CL65 with 30K miles and $78K price at Simonson in Santa Monica, CA. Fantastic performance, but lack luster style and electronics when compared to the 08s. Last year I would have died to get it, now I just wait for an 08 lease return.
BTW--they had an 40th CL 65 anniversay edition. Cheap at 300K?

You will be waiting awhile for a 08 cl65
with the new body and the even more low production numbers it will be atleast a couple of years before u see them at a 100k
so the only coupe 65 is the older model at these crazy prices

Why did you trade your SL65? That car is amazing. Were you not happy with the ride or performance? I'll bet you could have sold it for more than the dealer gave you for trade in. Too bad about your experience with the dealership. Mine local dealer gives pretty good service to me.
I bought the car CPOed. As I'm driving home I went to brake at an exit ramp and the steering was shaking. Both rotors had to be replaced. At delivery there was no Nav disc, the tires were underinflated by almost 10 lbs each, and the front shock failed within 300 miles. When I left it for service (after not telling when the parts came in) I come back and they tell me that I must have run over something because the under panels were damaged and missing. I of course know I didn't run over anything. Then because I'm pissed, they don't order the parts, and when they finally do they order the wrong ones. After buying four MB's from this dealer in three years, this car being the fifth and having a deposit on a C63, I refused to spend another dime with them. And on top of their arrogance, when my ex went to have her car serviced that salesman said " he be back, you know how he is".
The RR dealer in Orlando earned my business by excellent customer service on a previous RR I purcashed and proved it again on this one.

Performance was great, ABC should be on all AMG's. At 6'2" it just was't comfortable enough after being in MB sedans. I researched what people were trying to sell their cars for and how long they had been on the market and it was easier to to move it through trade. The dealer that sold me the RR had tried to sell it ended up shiping it to another dealer who had it listed for a lot less than I paid a month earlier. It just a bad market now.

! That is just a horrible experience. SCREW THEM!! I would never walk into that dealership again. I would write a letter to them and MBUSA to let them know how you were treated and mention that your mbworld.org forum friends don't approve either! Maybe they will actually look into the management and change their customer service practices.
