I would consider it with the premise that you're buying the car for yourself yet in the back of your mind you'd sell it for a profit at the drop of a hat. In other words, don't let the "car business" part of it drive your motive for having the license. It would just be a sideline potential profit if you happen to sell it.

Following the bi weekly price drop of a 05 CL 65 (30k mi) at Simmonson MB in Santa Monica CA. Started KB at $119K
1 mo later $ 99K
6 wks later $ 79k
8 wks later $ 75K
This wk(10wk)$ 70K
The economy is driving these prices to rock bottom and confirmed on this board at the wholesale level.

Who needs a dealers license to go to the auction? Pick it off the lot any day of the week.

HAHAHA, the silver one right..I have been following it as well, A bit on the high side for mileage..37k miles..you could find one a bit lower mileage for the same money.

Yup,just wait until 2008 hits, january or february...they will really be screaming. LOL!!

Yes the silver one. BTW--They sold the CL 65 40th Ann Edition yesterday from the showroom floor---300+k.

Surprised I haven't bumped into you since I'm down there so often.

I'm w/you! I even saw a sweet blk on blk CL65 2005 w/aftermarket deep dish blk center wheels I think it was $68k-$69k I can't wait to see what Jan-feb 08' brings!

Local dealer wants 97K for an '05 SL65 with 25K miles. It is in good condition but who are they kidding?
