Give me your lease payments ....
Oh and not to be rude, but $200K can afford a CL63?? I guess if one wants to live house poor...
Yeah, $14k down is a lot but then again, it's a CL63.
I'd just get a slightly used CL63 w/ less than 6k miles on it. They'll be cutting a much larger deal on the lease.
As soon as the new car comes off the lot, you lose BIG time. And we all know how AMGs tank in value quickly.

Here are my stories....
1. I bought a new leftover 2005 CL55 in late 2006 and got an substantial discount from list >40%, no lie, with extended warranty, etc. (Only options it doesn't have is a phone and that silly cruise control warning.)
Seems the guy who ordered it as a surprise for his wife - car dealer story! - was even more surprised when it arrived and she said "Honey, where are the other two doors?". So he bought a S500 sedan instead and the 55 just sat in the showroom, they drove once in awhile, they said. I went back to look at it several times in the NSX, I'm such a tease!
When I decided to buy I refused to talk to the salesperson about the purchase (he was a good guy, just retired, I wish him well.) I insisted with dealing with the dealership owner. Of course they wouldn't do that...I knew they would kick me down to the sales director, that's ok, I knew they had to move it and he could. I was not interesting in playing games but check out what happened.
As soon as I walked into his office with two sales guys on either side of me, the SD actually offered me a lower price than I was prepared to pay based on the research I had done. It was time for a poker face....
So I said, "Well, we're within $7k of each other, what can you do for me?"
2. I've suspected that my pristine low mileage Acura NSX 2003 (with 100k warranty) holds its value better than my pristine low mileage 2005 CL55 (with 100k warranty). Both always garaged and are paid for

Does anyone have figures to back that up? Where would I find them?
Due to health reasons (alleged malpractice) I may want to sell the NSX because it is a manual, alas, and that is where I got f***ed.
NB - If you ever have a foot or ankle problem, I seriously suggest you go to a sports orthopedic MD only.

PS
I don't think I'll ever sell my G500, though.
