There is only one there right now, so , you know who you are. Maybe you are on the boards, maybe not. If you are though, I have to ask...How do you keep your car in such bad shape?! I couldn't believe how trashed that thing is. Your missing paint at all four corners, front and rear! Your wheels are chewed up so bad the tires even looked to be peeling from the front of the sidewall! Those are curbs buddy! You park NEXT to them! I won't even mention all the crap and garbage all over it, and the ashes!! Ohh the ashes all over the beautiful charcoal interior! It was just such a shame to see. Me and the lot guys had a laugh about it anyhow. I just couldn't believe anybody could treat such a rare new car like that one so terribly. It was shocking to see honestly I would be embarrassed to drive it in that condition. I wish I had taken some pictures. I guess that isn't right though. Oh well, I guess it goes to show that no matter how wealthy you become, class is something that has no price tag.

Not defending the OP but that is a sad thing to see in these vehicles. Get some pics next time...with the VIN so we know what car NOT to buy.

2010 CL65
Having lived/worked in Manhattan earlier in my career (and drove new CL55s around Manhattan back then....how else does one safely/comfortably traverse that 3rdWorld craphole???)....would argue most buyers of $150K+ cars (or any cars) are unfortunately not very OCD about their cars...and places like Manhattan are some of worst on planet to avoid door dings/pkg scuffs, given the overwhelming anti-car, pro-train/cab bias of NYC region....even the billionaires are driven around in lame, scuffed-up S550s in Manhattan (likely w/meathead drivers who were driving cabs/TownCars a few mths back)....Greenwich has better driving conditions, but still suffers from that awful NYC weather and lame roads...

And in CA, one needs to be in rather circumscribed places like BH/SF/Woodside, where a car nut can easily commute daily via CL63 030/65, yet have near-no issues w/door dings/vandalism....simple logic of choosing appropriate urban regions/office pkg garages/restaurants...and tipping generously....it's not that complicated...

I am pretty sure the owner is not even on this board. If you are rich a $150k car is just another car to them. Most likely it's lease anyways. it's their money, they can do what ever they want with them. So, just take a chill pill and move on.

start a post because someone has a dirty car

as if thats worth discussing?

I dont get it..

And what if he is on the board...to call him out...for all we know its a lease vehicle being paid for by his corporation and he has no attachment to the car...

Being rich enough not to give a sh*t has nothing to do with ones class and is not an endictment of his life choices, necessarily.

For all we know he culd have been the victim of a hit and run/side swipe or a jealous X with a vendetta. Who knows and who cares.

i think u need to relax and need to chill over your obsession w/ someone's else car. It's just a benz. cars are objects. they are meant to be driven and enjoyed. so what if its dirty. Who cares? There are more pertinent issues in the world which deserve people's attention.. let's keep that perspective..

I got one word-RESPECT

Whether it's a lease or yours. Whether it's a car, urn of ashes or a bible people need to respect everything. If not we are just brainless organisms.

Just my $.02

My father always used to tell me you can tell alot about someone from how they treat their car. While their are exceptions to this I would have to agree with the OP's view on this.

I am not the owner...but I can probably answer this question. It is actually a pretty easy process. Instead of leaving parktronic on...you hit the button off and make sure you have ABC in the lowest setting. This makes playing "Bumper Curbs" more fun. You get 10 points for every inch of curb rash, 25 points if you take a chunk tire off and 50 points for every paint scratch. You get additional points for eating fast food while playing Bumper Curbs... 5 points for a reg. Cheeseburger...up to 25 points for a BigMac. Additional points can be awarded for dropping lettuce and "dressing" on the fine Nappa leather. You are in bonus round if you can smoke (10 points) and eat a BigMac while playing Bumper Curb...this would mean that you are using wrists, elbows, knees or other appendage to navigate. The level of difficulty jumps (as does the potential damage) and you are awarded 50 extra bonus points.

Maybe it's one of the dealer's "loaner" cars and they just haven't cleaned it from the last one who used it.

Believe it or not. When I try very hard not to get curb rash I do. On other hand, when I'm not conscious of parking and curb rash, no problem no curb rash ever.

I'm the guy who waxes the wheels once a week. Makes me see everything.

OP, I don't think the owner would care you were having a laugh at his expense. He probably is having a laugh at the expense of you guys considering he can afford to trash a car that is 4x the cost of your cars combined.

Who cares, the car is dirty.....it is still a CL63. Just like no matter how clean your C-class is....it's still a C-class.
