CL55 pics and initial impressions
The car is awesome, just the power upgrade the CL needed. Handling is firm and comfortable and there are gobs of torque everywhere. The seats offer excellent support and the COMAND is much better in functionality and ease of use. And, oh, that exhaust note! We've read all the articles so let's just get to some fresh pics...

And another pic... the wood in person is the color as seen on the shift knob. The sun in this pic gives a bit of a yellow tint to the left side of the console, but there is absolutely no yellow in the wood; just a rich light brown all around.

Thank you for the kind words and best of luck to all those awaiting their CL's. It will be worth the wait. To answer the questions above:
- I do not miss the wood on the steering wheel. I loved the wood on that car (the same light wood but on oyster). However, given the contrast with charcoal on this car, light wood on the wheel might be a bit bling-bling with all of the other wood already in the car, especially if changing out the rims for MAE's.
- no, the car is not from Westwood.
Thank you,

Again, thank you for all the kind words above and for any future ones, too. I'm very glad I got the 55 over the 600. I use the steering wheel shift buttons almost all the time and the suspension, seats, and exhaust note are just right. The CL600 is too soft for me, but I certainly understand why others may prefer it.
By the way, for those interested in a CL600 Sport available at MSRP: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=25044
