Speaking of men and boys...

True fact:
In WWII, the British Armed Forces did not allow homosexuals to serve on the front lines. Due to the heavy casualty rate suffered by the various military branches, the ratio of homosexuals to surviving heterosexuals vastly increased, thus causing a general decline in birth rates ever since. According to a McKinsey study conducted in 1968, fully 70% of British men were found to be homosexual, up from less than 40% before the war.

sound 8 picture

Hi, if you go to Mercedes AMG vehicles, then click S55,S65,S63
and then click" Viper Kill " there is a picture. No E55 I have part ex it for
a C320 est, the E55 in my opinion being the weakest, not as comfortable
as a S class , not the versatility as the SL and not as quick as the CL65
and it;s image. Also it understeered when pushed.

Having owned several Mercedes (sl,e, and now an S) and still own two BMW M's I have to say that most of you have no idea of what the hell you are talking about. Yes the mercedes will kill the BMW in a straight line but once you put a a couple of turns in the way and it is all over. NO MERCEDES CAN OUT HANDLE ANY M PERIOD. Now as I stated that in a staight line the mercedes has the advantage. I know that this is a mercedes site but come on guys things like power to weight ratio, suspension setups and the like play a much bigger role than how much power you are putting down!!! Here is a pic of one of my M's. care to say that any of your cars with nore HP could out handle this even in race form?????????????????????? Now I am not defending this guy so much as to say that some of you guys really have no right to give this guy crap since those individuals have no idea about cars and how they perform (especially BMW's)!!!!!!!!! Don't be one of those guys that people look at and say of look just because he drives a benz HE THINKS HE IS KING S@#$. Just a little info for you guys BMW is returning to ALMS with the new M and well WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME THEY WERE THERE. THEY DESTROYED EVERYTHING AND THAT'S FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The BS DOES NOT!!!!!!!!!! Go look up the post where someone made the same claim and than I posted up the power to weight ratio's of the BS SL and the new M and they never posted again. Funny how that worked out Please don't make me post up vids of the new M making practice runs at the ring. Crap all anyone has to do is look at the records from when BMW was running and the answer will present itself. Guys come on; I have the benefit of owning both makes and I own the Mercedes because NOTHING comes close to the comfort of it but when it comes to cornering there is a reason that BMW is the Benchmark for all sports cars and mercedes is not even thought of when looking for a track car. The are heavy sleds that have insane motors (AMG actually detunes the engines because the trans and dif. can not handle the power for long periods) but these cars have NEVER BEEN KNOWN FOR THE WAY THEY CORNER!!!!!!!!

Take a breath.

I seem to remember an episode of Top Gear showing the BS in front of the M.

I will agree with you that BMW has the cornering advantage over the mercedes, but I wouldn't call it the benchmark for all sports cars.. BTW, do you mind if some of us ask you how old you are?

But again, we should take your "word" over professional drivers, albeit on a tv show, who have drive WAY more "fancy pantsy sports cars" then you or I will ever have the privelege of driving..

When you woke up this morning and put down the pipe, did your parents let you take you M3 out for a stroll? If you want to compare this BMW that you are showing us, then you need to compare it to all of the other "race cars" in its class. Maybe you should have compared my ML63 to the F1 style BMW in that same garage. Jackass!

Dude you are skating and you know it. They asked for pictures of YOUR CARS. I see you posted a pic, and then went on to trash MB's but you own four of them? (Only three on the pic) I posed a question to you, what country are you in?

There is a very valid point on this question which can end this whole debate and this claim.

Something is amiss with your statements on the Viper Kill thread and here as well.

Actually I am 35, own all my cars outright and I BUILT THE M care to say what any of you have built ? Go and watch that top gear video that you all like to talk about so much because the BMW BEAT THE MERC ON THE TRACK. SORRY GUYS TRY AGAIN! They talk about how SLOPPY THE MERCEDES WAS. Listen I agree that the mercedes is a great car but it will not hold it's own on a track or anywhere there are turns when compared to a BMW M. You people need to stop drinking the bug juice!!!!!!!! Listen facts are facts and since none of you know me personaly you should stop with the personal attacks especially when I am just putting the REAL FACTS OUT THERE. You try to call my maturity in question but at no point do I attack anyone or show my a!@ like a child being any E-TOUGH GUY like some of you!!!

That's impressive. What scale did you use? The 20-1 is particularly difficult.

I tried to build one in a bottle but I didn't have the patience.

Since I knew that one of you would bring up the "well that's a race car" argument that's why I said to go look up the stats from when BMW raced in the DTM series (pre ALM) and look up the stats. BMW OWNED THE DTM. They were forced to leave because Opel, porche cried to the judges about BMW putting the V8 in the e46 (there was an issue about how many of the V8 variants that BMW actually sold to the public and thus the cry babies said that it was not fair that the E46 had a V8 and BMW was forced to pull the cars out. BTW the 6cyl. still continued to own all on handling courses)They even threatend to pull all sponsorhips and teams from the series. You guys should do a little research before posting. I did and that's all that I asked you guys to do. Listen mercedes are awsome cars (although the quality has started to slip) but they are not SPORTS CARS in the sense that we are talking about. BElieve what you like I already see that here are a bunch of misinformed KIDS in here that have no interest in KNOWING THE TRUTH. I the old saying goes "you could lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink"

Note that Top Gear solicited two professional drivers to test the cars above and each car's best times are shown. This, like all tests, are very driver-dependent. Someone who's not familiar with a particular car, just isn't going to be as fast in it. As an example, the other driver of the NSX recorded a time of 8m 57.13... but this included a full 360 degree spin where the driver was quoted as saying he never had to take it out of second gear!
