yes you can. you have to remove the engine covers and air intake tubes as well as all the coil packs....

the last plugs (closest to the firewall) are a b1tch. those plug connectors are also hard to remove as there is not enough room for leverage, but some mechanics gloves and colorful language usually does the trick.

you will need a flexible socket extension to reach most of the plugs.

make sure you mark which coil goes where as some of the cables from what i recall are different length.
good luck

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Basic M113

engine, you remove the engine cover.Remove the torx fittings from the coils.Use the special 17mm boot removal tool(pm me for a fair delivered price)You pop off the boots.Move the coils forward and out of the way.You remove the plugs with a 16mm thin walled socket.Replace(use no anti seize) torque to spec and return the boots onto the plugs and reverse the boot tool to use slight pressure to make sure the boot is seated fully on the plug.
16 NGK BKR5EGP about 3bucks each single side electrode platinum plugs and you are good to go.Don't let anyone talk you into multi tip plugs the m113 hates them.Don't let anyone talk you into new wires, the wires you have will outlast the car if you don't abuse them(that is where the 17mm tool comes in handy). It gets access to the boot and uses gentle leverage to pop it off the plug.
pm me if you need more help.Replace your air filter at the same time(not Kand N) since you will have the air box and cover off anyway.

16 plugs on the V8 an 24 on the V12. Takes a few hours at a MB dealer, would
not recommend it unless you are reasonably skilled. My cost was £490
inc plugs. about 700 dollars at todays rate.Try to get a discount, quite often
they are prepared to lower the price.
