How rare is the CL65?? Only 142 CL65 built in 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.topgearage.com/?p=260
These numbers are 100% accurate.....
142 in 2005 and 52 built in 2006
HOW YA LIKE THEM APPLES.....
this car is rarer then any other super exotic built on the planet.....
UNREAL
Overall less then 250 were built worldwide
And this car can be bought for $50k?
Truly a lot of ignorant yet clueless people out there....
The most underrated car in history.
Though since they have bottomed out I am seeing the available cars
For sale becoming less and less daily. Only about 15 are for sale across the country.

so I will have to let everyone who asks me about the car that
"It is more powerful and rarer then a ENZO and a Lambo Murc"
Ofcourse I will have to sit and explain why the car has a value of $50k if it is so rare and powerful
I had to do this with my brother.....
I told him "people are just missing out man....not my problem"
When they figure it out all the good ones will be gone.....and nobody will sell you one now...
I still cant believe it.....

Plus monk, your numbers don't exactly compete with most supercar production numbers. It's still handily beat by the Aston DBS, Veyron, etc which all actually HOLD THEIR VALUE. Hell, there were only 24 of my Supra model built in '97, and it's worth more than your CL.
As for the Bugatti...well they are only building 300 as I stated..and there were only 194 CL65's built...
let's get real here.... the car is rare...I am not PUMPING up ****...the facts are stated... you wanna buy the car or you dont ...I dont care...this is not what I do for a living... this is what I do as a side thing....
YOUR SUPRA? nice to throw that in there....I have had 2 ....I LOVE the cars to death.....but the technology is nothing a CL65 has ...the 2jz motor is awesome but the chassis is old and the style and interior is days of the past....the Supra is outdated plain and simple and all the luster has fizzled since before the last Fast and Furious movie came out....is it worth more then my car? Maybe... I know what you have there... I can tell you that you cant finance it worth a damn... and not too many people laying out $50k plus dollars for 12 year old cars ...with 76 Ball Bearing turbo and a sub 11 second 1/4 mile.....not practical ...anybody can go to the bank and finance my car and have a great fast rare car to drive daily....
Wait ... I just saw the new Fast and Furious trailor....wow.... a Grand National is in it!!! I own 2 of these cars.....damn so now the Supra is out and the GN is now going to be the PIMP car to own and race.... seeing as it should be since is was the fastest US production car for almost 20 years.. and the only 80's car worth owning....
I am not a snake I am a Panther....LOL

I paid $18k for my 94 Supra in showroom MINT condition with ~50k miles in 2000...I put about $9k-$10k into it (sound performance single turbo SP57, fmic, electronics..blah blah)...It put out nearly as much horsepower as my CL65 (tho not even CLOSE to the torque tho). The Supra's design is still beautiful today as it was 15 years ago! Motor was good for 700-800hp on stock internals...thats a strong engine no matter who the manufacturer, please give it the respect it deserves. 11's were attainable for me for WAY under the $50k+ that you say...my supra ran 118mph traps on the stock twin turbos (~18psi)...not bad for a $5 bleeder valve

I think its funny how car companies got away from "awful turbos" and are now returning to turbos as the answer to good power from smaller engines...The RX7 lost its turbos in the RX8 (slow as hell) and the 350zx is just a altima/maxima without turbos...it took a pair of turbos (skyline/gtr) to make it worth a darn
*off my soapbox*
I am partly in a CL65 due to the fact that toyota has not come out with a Supra replacement (along with the price drop and the luck to find the one i bought).
CL65 is definitely a better package in the sense of luxury car/performance...but the Supra had its own set of qualities that I will always miss. The Supra will always be one of the rulers of its time, and then some time after
not keep in a garage and be **** about every mile put on the odometer
besides...i'd rather see this in my driveway every morning than watch the stock market go down every morning!
A man after my own heart, I'd rather look at my CL65 than my bank statement.

makes me appreciate the car I found, the condition it is in, and the price all the more
