for use to get that price, we need 15 people to do a de depoist on the rear diffuser and 10 on the front lip. i might be willing to but two of the rear diffuser or front lip if we need 1 or 2 more people to fill out the order.

also Neil if we go thu with the order can we get a deal where you wont release the rear diffuser to the public until 2 years later. so it could be a limited edition

I am in, if it is clear this is for a 2005 CL65... I am in for sure. I purchased the front lip, and so can be counted on for the rear.

As an aside, the front lip has some nicks clear through the clear, how is that repaired?

I'm picking up my new to me 03 cl 55 amg tomorrow nite! I test drove it this past Sunday and man what a barnstormer...

I need to replace the rear glass and replace the SCharger bearing.....which is already on order......At the risk of hi jacking this thread......Will you guys tell me what the worst case scenario is for the SRS light being on, in terms of cost?

No easy way to fix rock chips in it. Unless you sanded it down and re clearcoated it. You can take a fine point black permanent marker and fill them in a little bit, it clearly won't fix it, but it makes it a whole lot less noticable.

Neal, can you make this a goer with the current interest list. Understand that price would be adjusted upwards for there being less than 15 orders.

Hey guys, this either gets done with the current list of people interested or it falls on its **** like it did last year when this list was started. You either want it for your W215 or not, another $100 or so should not break the bank for anyone. For me the exchange rate is going backwards, in other words its getting more expensive but I'm still in. I have Neal's front lip and its great, good quality, everyone compliments it and he was a pleasure to deal with.

What I would also like is a nice little carbon fibre lip spoiler for the boot. What does everyone think about this?

Neal is a boot lip spoiler feasible and the question all will ask you is what is the cost. How about a combined cost of rear diffuser and boot lip spoiler as a package, will that make it more attractive for you to produce?

i think its getting close with the 15+ people needed to get the rear diffuser buy. since we are close can you go ahead and start a way where people who are interest in it can pay/deposit for it so you can get the project started. and also cound you verified that it will be a 3 fin and not 4 fin diffuser. also if we get more then 15 by the time that your project is done, would the price be lower or will it be the same as 15. thanks

Sathinas, I'm not telling anyone what to do nor am I trying to take over. Everyone here is a big boy and will do what they want regardless of what anyone might say. I am simply stating my opinion. It's called free speech. If you don't like it then its your problem not mine. The issue of a rear diffuser for the W215 has been raised before but it fizzled out. I see that happening again. I hope I am wrong, time will tell.

Finally, if you read my post carefully you will see that I already have Neal's front lip spoiler.

I mean, if you really want this diffuser that badly, you'd have had your own made, no matter the cost, right? I know I've paid tons more for a one off thing because others didn't get around to getting in a group buy. It's how things are done.

I hope we get to 15 people. If we don't, then it is what is it.

here is a link that you can all go threw to start leaving deposits, I will keep everyone updated with how many we get. keep in mind, NO one is charged anything until we get 15 orders, and if we do not get 15 orders, we will not charge you a dime. Also, this is will be a 3 fin diffuser similar to our C63 one I posted above.

Neal, there is no tension between me and Sathinas, we're cool. Just voicing our opinions. I have to make the most of it before he becomes Galactic Emperor and mandates no free speech and we all have to drive Ford Pintos. By the way what the heck is a Ford Pinto? We don't have them here in Australia.
