IC Pump
HI there any info on a upgrade IC pump for a 2005 CL65. I have read alot on the forum about the Johnson CM30 & CM90. I have not found any feedback for this on a CL65 install. I also know about the Renntech but $4000
How does the Johnson compare to the Renntech pump. Are there any other pumps worth looking at or is Johnson the one? Any info would be great

The renntech IC upgrade is a larger pump with a small secondary heat exchanger. This upgrade can be replicate for less then 700.00 The stock Bosch pump was inconsistent and intermittent hence most people swapped it our for a CM30.

I believe the heat exchanger is from an oil cooler found on the 600 model. PM jayson I think he may have the info. As far as the pump LET motors carries the CM30...flows 3 or 4 times more than the stocker. That sounds good to me.

if my memory servers me correct it was a small oil cooler, then all u need is a johnson cm30 and youre done. I personally dont think that the extra oil cooler does all that much, but I havent tested one first hand.

RENNtech's kit is about $3500 if I remember correctly... it includes an oil cooler from the SL600, a pump, a couple of hoses and some metal brakets.
As Jay said you can replicate this for under $700...

So if I get the SL600 cooler and CM30 I should be good to go right? Is there a certain year SL600 or are they all the same and is that the cooler I should get?
