Cool CL63 with 22" HRE

Couple of photos of my 63 lowered with 22" HRE. Painted the front grills black for a different look. Looks much more aggressive and flows well.
I will have more photos once I get a couple buddies together for a shoot.

Enjoy.

a little too much ghetto-lowered for my particular taste. this stance is more suitable for a civic if you know what i mean.

if you raise it a smidge (especially in the back) it will look more classy.

i like the rims a lot and they look good on your car

just my 2 cents.

Looks really good. Wish there was more of a lip on those rims though.

Looks a little too big for the car, 20's would probably be the largest I would consider for that car. Plus 22's probably weigh a ton, which has an adverse effect on your car's performance.

Grill question

Did you shoot the grill yourself? If so, what products for paint and prep did you use?

I think its hawt. I love the lower grille surrounds on the CL63. That little trim adds alot of detail to the lower fascia.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks great! I have a CLS500 and I am trying to do the same thing with my grill, but the guy doesn't want to paint chrome because he says the paint won't stick. What did you do to paint your grill?

I think it looks perfect. I think the drop is what puts everything in its proper place. The only thing I dont like about the car, and not just this one, is the chrome trimming around the bumper grilles. I think benz should have put those chrome trimmings on the CL550, and not the CL63.

But as far as the current mods.
I didnt see any "Ghetto" in it.
