Went to look at a CL 55 today....
Went to Rallye Motors in Roslyn, NY today to order my new S500 (Tectite Gray/Ash) and on the floor they had a Pewter/Black CL 55...I have been considering buying out my Porsche and hand it in for a CL 55...but I'm not of the mind to pay a 25k markup...My question is, any dealers in the Northeast that you guys may know of who have this car for little to no markup? Is this the standard practice? Any help you can give, I'd appreciate...Thanks!

The mark-up problem seems to be a problem with Long Island dealers. After two S Classes at Competition Imports of Smithtown (they also own Mercedes of Huntington) I was aksed "How much are you willing to pay for the S600?"
My suggestion is Mercedes of Manhattan. They are factory owned and you will most likely get the car you want and at MSRP no questions asked.

Fabulous....Thanks for the advice...I was also told that the S500's were going with a slight markup, but my dealer was willing to "give me a break" and I got it at the right price.

The dealer I went through for my M5 (Lineback enterprises) has 2 CL55's in stock, and I drove both. A black opal/java, and a Blk/blk.
You can reach Ken Mckay there at 972-424-2585. They can ship to you, and may be able to get near MSRP. Tell Ken I sent you. I took pics of the black opal car if you are interested.

Thanks, but I think I found a good deal up here...Build my own car to spec (thinking Capri Blue/(ash/java)) and at MSRP as long as I put down about 5 grand, fully refundable...Not bad at all, I'm just trying to find someone to pick up my Porsche lease

Take a look at the Designo Espresso edition pictures on the site do not do it justice. Maybe someone on this board has a Designo interior they would like to share with us?
