Looking To Purchase 08 CL63 or 08 CL550
Hello all. I am excited to join you guys after spending plenty of time over on the RangeRovers.net forum. I can't wait to join the Mercedes-Benz family and will be purchasing either a 08 CL63 or 08 CL550 in the next few weeks. I am not quite sure as to which one yet but I have two that I am considering. What are the opinions of the board? Appreciate any and all input. Both cars are Black / Black and both have P2 Package. They are both pre-owned and have under 10,000 miles.

2009 CL63
Really depends on your budget and desire to drive an AMG product. Seems this board leans only to the CL65 side, however the CL63 has plenty of torque and hp. The CL550 is a quick ride with less torque. Choice is personal.

I appreciate the responses. Thank you very much for the input. I am leaning towards the CL63. The extra power seems to grab my attention a little bit more. They are both excellent cars. I will keep everyone updated.

If these are only two choices, I'd go with CL63.
Test drive both and then the choice is yours.
If not, I would pick V12TT (600 or 65) for legendary torque.
But, don't test drive those

I'm trying to limit it only to the CL550 and the CL63. I definitely won't drive the CL600 or CL65 because I am sure I won't go back. Haha. Thank you for the warning and for the welcome. I am glad to be here. I am definitely going for the CL63 first over the CL550 after the responses I have gotten. I would be happy with either.

Well guys, I went for a CL63 AMG. I am dealing with all the paperwork now and should have the car in about a week. Will post pictures as soon as I get it. I'm very excited.

Well everyone, with a last minute change of plans, I have decided to go with a brand new 2009 CL63 AMG. The heavy discounts offered lead me to this decision and for the extra money, a new one was well worth it. I will take delivery tomorrow but won't be home to see it until Sunday. I will take pictures then and post. I don't know how I am going to make it through the weekend. I'm way too excited.

Here we go. Here are the pictures as I promised. I am so happy with the car. It is just amazing. It is a 2009 CL63. Black / Black. Absolutely perfect! The only question I have is regarding the break-in period? Is there one with this car and if so, how many miles?
