Is there a module you would have to use for the install to make it work. And when you put it on reverse, does the camera switches on the display on the screen?

Yes. I have a backup camera install on my car and it works perfect when in reverse. There are a couple of backup camera kits out there. Also check with the MB dealer, they have custom kits for this as well....a bit pricey though.
