Mine wear down in the middle, as they always are spinning.. I also adjusted the rear wheel camber/toe to take some of angle out of the tires. Need more straight line traction verses corning in this big car..

YOu can not buy camber or toe. They are angles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camber_angle

Go to an alignment shop and tell them your tire wear issues and they should be able to adjust the camber/toe to reduce wear.

My indie says only an MB dealer can adjust the rear suspension on my CL55. They told me it takes special tools and parts that only MBUSA has. I do not know if this is the same with a CL500 or a CL65 but I suspect the latter car is similar.

They also told me that the rear has to be adjusted before the front in order to ensure correct alignment. That was confirmed by the dealer and the AMG specialist I spoke with.

Had the indie check the dealer's alignment after it was performed and both readouts of the alignment were almost identical and within the AMG specs...

I actually got the dealer to have someone sit in the driver's seat while they were doing the alignment. I should note the dealer did the alignment for gratis, no geld. Thank you!

Not trying to be contentious. Just reporting.
