New Owner 2005 CL55 amg
Hi everyone new owner here.Just bought a cl55amg for 32K with 60000 on it. Took it to mb for pre sale inspection.Guy said good deal.So now I have my fingers crossed. Can you tell me what I should do frist as far as maintence. The car says 8900 miles till a service?

In the UK with an MB main dealer, If you supply the oil (Mobil1 0/W40) you can get a "A" service for £165 GBP, "B" will be about double that, I imagine the US will be cheaper.

"A" service
Is "A" service just oil and belt check and filter change? If so I am a good wrench turner and should be able to handle it. The car is out of warrenty. I am going to order a service manual. Can a homeschooled mecanic handel these cars as far as rotine stuff? Sorry about the spelling its a weakness i have.Thank again for the help! Its nice to know there is help out there.

Buy the STAR SERVICE Service Manual Library DVD for Model 220/215 from the dealer. Approx. $100....best money you'll spend on these cars.
Contents include, Repair, Maintenance, Diagnostic Info and Function Description. Wiring Diagrams with Component Locations, Service Bulletins and DTB.
