I love the CL65 ..it is a great car ...but dealers are always in the greed mode....they traded this car in for close to $50k...now they are asking $80k plus...
no keyless
CL63's and 2007 CL600's are under $80k now...

Ain't no way they can sell that car with that price (reserve not met!) unless it comes with a supermodel

Admittedly, it is a beautiful car...I love the color. I was going to play devil's advocate and say that the MB dealer is CPOing the car so they might have had to replace a bunch of stuff on the car and throw in the price of the warranty. But then I noticed the mileage...wow that thing is practically new. The dealer seems to be uber greedy...but as the saying goes...pigs get fat....hogs get slaughtered....

it is pretty much new...

That's the lowest mileage W215/W220 I've seen in the year or so I've been into these cars...That's not far off $100/mile in depreciation!!

You would have to be an idiot to buy this car for 80K. There are so many fantastic deals out there in 80K range... You can get anything: Astons, P Turbos (07 low miles), CLK BLK, and the list goes on.

Looks just like mine, if you drive it 20K mile you depreciate it at more than $1.00 per mile.. Than again that beats $100.00 per mile :-)
Retail it might be worth 60K to someone who wants one like that.

$80k will get you a GTR with $15k change
$80k will get you a S65 2007 and enough left over for a set of bad *** shoes
the list goes on.....
Truly a great car but the dealer has no clue on street value

I rather have a CL than a GTR
See before pic and after pic below.
Both are not track worthy
But that is what the white beetle is for.

+1 and the real question is, why only 900 miles on a 5 year old vehicle??? Sitting?? Wrecked??? HUH??? Come on, 200 miles a year since new?? I'd love to hear the real story on this one?? Originally Posted by E63ory

Its a beautiful car for sure BUT the mileage (and price) raise lots of questions. Did some pastor in Southeast Florida get kicked out of his congregation and the car has to go???
Best part of this is the ad right above the pictures:

I just did a Manheim on this car; They don't have any sales with this mileage (900) BUT we can extrapolate from that. Here's what they are showing:Originally Posted by Thericker

2005 CL 65 High: $ 50,475 with 26,000 miles/ Avg: $ $41,500 with 52,000 miles Low: $32,500 with 78,000 miles. You can do your own math but even with the mileage on the Florida car, I'd say $80,000 is way way on the high side and $60-65 would be more reasonable?? $55 would be a steal for this (with the mileage).
** The values on these cars is very mileage dependent ****
Anyone have an idea what the sticker on this car was????

+1 , odd , very odd that a 5 year old car has only 900 miles???Originally Posted by HIGH-VELOCITY
Something too good to be true generally is just that, 900 miles???
it was probably one of those cars that no one could fix bought back etc

Why would you think that? Maybe the owner had 20 cars + and only had time to drive it that much? Or maybe someone thought it was going to be a collectiable and had a second thought? If it was a "trade assist" it will show up on the dealers netstar report you couldnt hide it.

I have that same car, it was purchased from that dealership in 05. The original sales receipt was in my glove box. Anyone have an idea what the sticker on this car was????
$194,000
I bought mine in Chicago last March, I'm the second owner.
I paid $54k with 24k miles and still under warranty
They're crazy asking that much!
