Mandrus Wheels - warning
Why - their offset (32mm) is not suitable for CL55s. (I put them on my CL55 so I have been there.) This WILL cause bottoming and other issues with the suspension and the ABC system. They are intended for a stock model, e.g.CL500, as long as it doesn't have the AMG suspension upgrade.
I have had talks with the Mandrus factory rep and they insist they are suitable for CL55 but they are not.
Don't use them on the CL55.My independent dealer (Town Fair Tire - recommended) returned these wheels and gave me full credit. I bought a used set of true AMG wheels for winter tires and I've had no problems since.
Tip: use AMG wheels only that have the proper offset (44mm) for your vehicle. Also, knockoff aftermarket wheels that look like AMGs are not up to the AMG load and safety standards. Make sure it says "Made in Germany" inside the wheel or on the aftermarket dealer website if you are buying new or used. In fact, my independent will not install these knockoffs on an AMG unless they are authentic wheels - they have have too many problems. If they say "Made in China" stay away. This not a jingoistic comment.
I'm sure this is controversial but I'm speaking from experience.

I have had no cracking problems with AMG wheels here in the land of potholes!
Did you have install spacers on the Mandrus?

A quick call to my local tire independent told me he would consider an ET 50 for a 20" rear wheel and a ET46 for a front.
I would make sure that the dealer you are buying them from will take them back if you have issues.
I would also consult a tire/suspension expert at your MB dealer about the effect this will have on the AMG suspension system. I have found however that the MBUSA dealer are loath to discuss any aftermarket parts.
BTW, if this 20" wheel weighs more that the stock 18" AMG wheel (26 lbs) why do you want to put it on the car? I'm sure you have heard of unsprung weight and this new wheel may have deleterious effects on handling, brake life, etc.
Also, the tires will be lower profile and therefore be more apt to give you a harsher ride and be more apt to fail if you hit a pothole or kerb/curb.
Again, I think the Mandrus are designed and suitable for the stock MB models (eg CL500) and are not suitable for AMG models as a rule. Your mileage may vary.
