Well my last set of PS2 lasted a year, and now I find myself looking for a new set of tires.
So what is everyone putting on your car these days?

Maybe this will help...I'm due for a set on my E55 and my tuner that usually has a hard-on for PS2's has told me he has put the Hankooks on his M3. The price point on the Hankooks are attractive as compared to the PS2's, too.

I read the reviews on 1010tires (exceptionally positive) and Tire Rack (very good) on the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo k110. Originally Posted by AMGfan

So a month ago I bought a set from Tire Rack for about $760 shipped. I figured if I didn't like them I would just burn them up real quick and move on. I have to say that they seem every bit as capable as the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions which were just on my CL65. What was particularly interesting was that the Potenzas were not offered in both a Y speed rating and the heaviest load rating (98/100) as comparable tires...yet the Hankook's were..

I was over at Butler tire here in atlanta, and they mentioned that michelin has a new all season pilot that has double the wear rating over older pilot. Where you are getting probably 10k now on your tires, you should be able to make it much further.
The last PS2's I had were 480$ each for rears.

As we are talking about a 65, with the torque I would think pretty much any tire will be a short term consumable. I am pretty sure I would be doing them with oil changes if I had a 65.

This is not necessarily true. If you leave ESP on, you aren't going to shred the tires. On my last set of Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Positions, I must have gotten about 15K miles out of them without running them bald.Originally Posted by KLR CLS
