How do you disable the TPMS? I have access to a STAR system but cannot figure it out. My car is a 2008 CL550 and put 22" forgianos on it and would prefer not to have to buy the sensors. I get a warning light at start up and after driving for approx 30 minutes, I get a No SENSOR warning. Any input would be appreciated....

You need to change the coding in the instrument clustor to turn off TPMS. Pre-SCN this is easy to do. You late model would require a SCN change (change of data card then subsequent re-coding). It may be possible if you have developer mode on you SDS to manually change the coding, have a look around and see what you find. You will only have to change the instrument clustor, no need to change anything else.

Hi- I'd like to disable the TPMS system on my 2006 W220 which provides a useless and annoying "warning" that causes me to have to "reset" the screen multiple times per drive. I don't want to spend the approx. $200 per wheel to fix what is likely an old battery. I have seen this issue mentioned a few times but no satisfactory answer. Help . . . Anyone!
Mine is disabled. The dealer did it for me.

Here is the correct way to do it. Go into intrument cluster - control unit adaptation - Tpm - select all settings to turn off. Now that will work and get your TPM warnings off the cluster but to do it properly now go into the CGW - control unit adaptations- all coding- and remove the TPM system from the coding now the car will not look for it and when diagnostics are run its not showing up with error codes.

You can make a TPMS pipe bomb if you have all the sensors.
