Comon issue. Mine replaced at 30K miles (along with tranny mount as well).

I replaced mine when I redid my suspension, at around 90K. It was not 100% necessary when I did it, as they were only partially collapsed, but since MB had my car for a week I went ahead and told them to do the mounts as well.

Mine were bad at 40K..Those hard drag strip launches did not help them much..

Mine were bad at 70K miles (6 years). The years may be more applicable than the mileage??

Take off

I would say that its the way you take off that puts most strain on your mounts not miles or years.

How much do these mounts tend to cost?

Seriously, Will the motor lift enough that the fan will hit ? I didn't realize that the mounts were hydraulic or that this was a common problem with theses.....

Search on the site under your model for factory Bulletins. As I recall there was a Bulletin on these, so you may be able to have it covered gratis. Make sure the tranny mounts are inspected also. The dealer may need your VIN. Have this Bulletin info in detail before you approach the Service writer!
