When in dyno mode, the ESP is off.

I'll post up the result if wavetrac makes it for the CL65..

Kinda tired of just burning rubber to keep up with challenges on the street.. but esp comes on. It'd be over alot sooner if I could get the power down to the ground.

If it wasn't for esp, I'd be gone.. or in the ditch.

Anyone turn off ESP all the time?, I've keep forgetting to try it, that is turn it off.

Doesn't ESP still work if you turn it off, and still keep you from still going sideways abit if it's off?
Well, found out "NO" wavetrac for the CL65.. so it's either the Kleenman or the astronomical priced Renntech OS Giken LSD..

Is there a additive issue with Kleenman's LSD? Good price. Wonder if you can order it ala cart and have a driveline specialist install it.

Hmm, my driveline specialist says that they had to for the Kleenman LSD install: " CL55, it requires over 13 hours to R/R the unit plus a computer reprogram for the airbags, then we cannot perform an on-vehicle upgrade."

Why?

Is there still no LSD available for the CL 55 AMG, other than Kleemann and Renntech/OS Gicken.
I really would love one from Wavetrac...

20x9" and 20x10.5". The offsets on the rear won't work for you because you have a 600 and not a 65. The 600 shares the same offsets as the 500 and 55. OCKlass posted his new wheel size and offsets but they are going to require stretched tires to clear the fenders.

Dyno mode - 1971 Chevelle with a built 396, except that my old Chevy didn't know what handling was. My CL reminds me so much of what my memory tells me about that car lol. Still, a soft spot in my heart for the 'Skunk', black with white factory stripes.

Fast forward to 2013 - love my CL and what a joy to be able to drive a car like this every day.

Yeah but the second the surfaces aren't even, weight transfer or one tire is hotter then the the other you find out they don't want to play together anymore. Still a cool pic!!

Very true. You see the one going the other way? That is what I think of of when I think one tire fire. That was from the 63 Mercury in the picture.

I am going to run 245/35 on the 9 and 285/30 on the 10.5. I guess somewhat stretched, but I will be using Michelin PSS, which run pretty big.

Just had the Quaife LSD fitted to the CL.

Amazing Mod. The car feels so much more stable, planted. Difficult to explain.

Especially coming out of junctions, you can apply far more power that you did without the LSD.

Very impressed and very happy.
