Kick in the pants!

So with my Eurocharged flash, my CL is plenty strong and fast, but hell the lag at gas pedal is not my idea of fun, sure I can mash gas pedal to floor and explode, but given I drive a lot around town, I tend to press on the gas pretty normal. I swear this thread isn't about sprint booster making power, it doesn't but the best way to describe my satisfaction with the product is it's like a kick in the pants, the car just responds like someone kicked it in the rear....I love it.

I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago. I had mine on an E55 before I bought the CL and I loved it on the 55. Its even better on the CL.

Sorry, no link. I guess I should have said IMO. Anyway the reason I say it is better on the (CL65) is because I feel like the CL accelerator has to travel much further before you really get into the power than my E55 did. I've never driven a CL55 but I would guess it would be more similar to the E55.

The sprint booster delivers a real transformation to any car. The elimination of the lag between flooring the throttle and response is simply amazing.

For some the sprintbooster will have a down side, rear tyres will need replacing sooner rather than later.

To those that may be thinking about it, stop thinking and just get one. You will have no regrets, guaranteed.

A SprintBooster is the greatest ploy in history.

If you want to go faster just mash the pedal harder and faster.

Maybe I need to sell a product that makes you push the brake pedal better.

The BRAKEBOOSTER! I GOT IT! INSTANTLY it will transform the braking of any vehicle and give the illusion the car has better brakes!

Listen I drive an RS6 that makes 650/788, it's a monster, dahlback racing staging 3, hybrid turbos, 750hp Bosch pump, 1000cc injectors, 3" dahlback DP's with 100 cell cats into 3" milltek exhaust, a v8 cosworth monster...I will say it again, I know mods, I know power, the SB is NOT making power, but even after my eurocharged flash on the CL, the pedal has to be pushed hard to get her to jump, the SB eliminated that, sorry but for around town driving I like to pop w/o crushing gas pedal, and the SB does it for me.

I think he meant, what is a sprintbooster ^^

so basically, installing a sprintbooster is equivalent to pushing down the pedal more? does it affect gas mileage? I am asking because I am considering getting one myself and I want to know as much as I can before the purchase.

I really do hate the lag I get, and if this makes it go away then I am down to give it a try.

The SB just remaps the gas pedal travel distance. Here is a link from the other thread.

Das geld, haven't you heard of the multiplier effect? No I am not referring to the what the SB does to the signal, I am talking about the $300.00 SB owners such as myself are spending. Some of that $300 getting passed around right back into economy....useless...hmm for me 300.00 well spent to make my cl's gas pedal respond quicker, i don't want to mash it to floor to make my car jump....I like a jumpy responsive car...blame the RS6..... IMO well worth, just like das geld, opinions are like @ssholes, everyone has one.

SpeedTrapped, stop justifying 300$ spent on nothing. It costs $9.99 to make.

Go look up ECU/Tranny reset that should fix your pedal issues.

Das Geld,
What do you have against the SB. Did you have a bad experience with one? Have you used one on a CL65 or other car? You keep bashing but don't state any firsthand experience.
