My CL55 AMG

I am teaching myself how to re-size and post pictures. I figured I would start with start with the car that brought me here.

what kind of mods are on it? From what I can see, you have...painted calipers and a light tint?

Awesome car, I just don't really like the 'AMG' decals on the caliper.....they look like imitation letters

Is right side exhaust shorter than the left side or is it the angle?

It's just the angle they are the same length.
There is alight tint on all the windows.
The AMG on the calipers is actually raised letters. I dont know who painted them. There are no mods that I know of.

I took those pictures pretty much as soon as I got the car home after I bought it last week.

I'm not a big fan of the red painted calipers but nice and clean ride. Hope you resolve the ABC issue soon (the other thread) and enjoy your ride!

The ABC line was ruptured and the whole right side of the car was sunk about an inch and a half. I went out and looked at it again after someone asked if it was pushed in. I measured with my fingers they were roughly the same lenght from the bumper. Ill look at it again tomorrow when I get the car back to be sure.

I'm not a fan of the grill either. I will likely change it. However I am not sure if the distronic will still work with a different grill. Yes my 03 has distronic I can't explain it but a lot of people have told me it is impossible. But its there.

the wings are growing on me I didn't like them at first.

As far as other mods, I have not found any yet. But I don't even know what to look for.

Well, for starters you could put some wheels on! Then a nice drop...

Maybe grab a CF lip from Euroteck, upgrade fogs to HID, I've swapped every halogen bulb to LEDS for my interior, including trunk and glovebox (looks sexy as hell at night, and that's just the beginning! You can do tons of mods..

Christ! I have not even figured out what half the buttons that are in it now do yet. Wheels would be cool but that would cut into my ammo budget. I don't know I will probably enjoy it as is for a month hen start doing some stuff to it.

Enjoy the car as it is, be keen about maintenance. Put your money into that.

The CL is a classic and speaks for itself. Yours is a nice one as it is.

Hi danlnyc,

Is there a write up on the forum about replacing the fogs to HID? Any recommendations (part#, instructions)?

Thanks
