1- Start by reading in the forums if anyone has done what you want .
2- youre in the wrong forum this is for AMG cars
3- you dont mention a chassis model or year of your car
4- If there is a kit for such conversion , would you honestly want to do it the
" the cheapest way " ??

I meant to say the face lift for 08 CL63 to the 11 CL63...I was asking for the cheapest way becuase I've seen 2 different people trying to sell it to me for about 16k...the most expensive things are those darn lights and the conversion kit...wanted to know if anyone can get those OEM parts a little cheaper....I just want to know exactly what parts I have to purchase...

Just looking at pictures, is the big difference the move from the fog lights to the DRL LED strip?

And $16k would be a VERY cheap conversion, some go as high as $23k... insane!

According to interviews with MB execs on the web around the time of the 2011 "facelift" release, everything from the front of the car up to the windshield was modified. So you'll need side panels, hood, bumper, grille, and new lighting assembly. Also, does the LED strip (actually there are two, one in the lower bumper and one in the lighting assembly below the primary headlamps themselves) require any additional wiring or power?

If you are considering spending $16k-$23k on this sort of modification, I'd go with the other poster's recommendation and buy a 2011 or 2012. Heck, if you're a torque fan, the new bi-turbo v8 on the 2011+ CL550 puts out more torque than the pre-2011 CL63's. (516 ft/lb vs 465 ft/lb), so maybe just upgrade to the cl500 or 550 or whatever?
