My 2012 CL63 w/ PP feels really fast
just picked up a 2012 CL63 w/ the perf package last night. This car feels surprisingly quick! Maybe close to my SL65. Does anyone have accurate 0-60 mph times for this car? I can't find any published road tests. I know the CLS63 PP has clocked a best of 3.8 sec...

For the prestige and total power that can be made, the V12 still makes sense.
But for most people, I think the V8 is going to make a lot more sense. It's better technology and it's likely to be the future of Benz.
Even the AMG 63TT doesn't make a ton of sense any more. The 550TT 4matic almost makes more sense, because you get the traction advantage. We're starting to see something similar to what BMW saw a few years ago, i.e. lightly modified turbo 335s are serious competitors against M5s and M6s. The new Ms are going turbo to combat this.

Just test drove the 2012 CL63 w pp at Fletcher in Newport Beach Ca
Absolutely Bonkers ......Car sounds literally like a drag car when u rev it! Shifts like a Road runner from the 70's. Handles like a porsche....kinda

Wait till you get some miles on it,I have 16k miles on mine and it literally rips the pavement.
Did Renntech ECU and now it definitely feels as fast as my old Kleeman SL65,while being much more nimble and responsive (better braking too) then S65 (200lbs less under the hood does wonders for it).
Overall,I am very satisfied with the performance.

lI just purchased this 2013 fully loaded po package carbon fiber package you name it it has it! 172k msrp. This vehicle is being transported enclosed and will arrive tomorrow?? Do you guys like it?
