*Sneak Peek* Custom W215 vented front bumper
Hey guys. I don't know if you know, but I'm getting my hood customized. It's going to look very mean, it's nearly finished besides paint. Anyway, my shop Davidson's/Finish Line (amazing guys with impeccable work ethic) is also installing the whole Eurocharged Stage 3 for me. While I was there, I showed one of the guys a set of CLK63 Black Series carbon fiber bumper vents that I had bought last year. I never got to install them since they were too big or no one wanted to take on the task.
(note) these pics ^^^ are C63 bumper vents, because I couldn't find a pic of the BS vents online anymore.
Well, without my knowledge, I went there today and was amazed to see this:
My guy cut them perfectly and molded them in. Obviously it's not going to be carbon fiber on the outside since he had to blend it, but I can always just buy another set of vents and attach them to the existing vents now. Almost done, just has to be painted. It looks amazing, just like OEM! Look how they flow perfectly with the lines on the side. These guys are magnificent, can't wait to see the hood finished either. The best part is it only took him about 2 days to knock this out since he has a guy dedicated to my car. I have yet to see a W215 CL with these bumper vents. Definitely gonna make the car that much more sexy
I don't post pics, but I wanted to know what do you guys think?

Looks nice. Have you considered having your corner lights molded into the impact strips since you're already going through all this work?

Thanks for the compliment. I've always wanted these vents for the CL. What do you mean having the corner lights molded? Do you have a pic so I could see what you mean?

No, I like how my LED looks through the marker, it's not amber
However, I though of deleting my fog lights and making it just mesh vents..
Or I may try to retrofit OEM S Class LED DRLs, either or. The current fogs are going bye bye.

Thanks for the words guys. I'm representing the CL. I can't wait to present to you guys the finished product. I have something that I or anyone I have ever met has never seen on any car! I'm so blessed my vision for my car is coming together beautifully

Those look great! Not too overdone at all and like you said, it flows well with the stock w215 lines. Don't place the CF overit. See if he can sand down to the CF and then clear coat it.
