Anyone else notice this flaw?

When someone wants to enter the backseat of my car, you have to hold the seat forward or it will swing back and knock the person entering out unconscious. Why didn't Mercedes put some kind of lock or little latch on this?
The seats are so big and bulky that I feel its almost necessary for something like this to be a part of the seat. Anyone else notice this? Or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why.

Tell me this. When you are looking at the back of the seats around where the leather and plastic back meets, there is a felt-like sticky fabric between them. Mine is coming out. It looks horrible! Does anyone else have this issue?

Seats
In mine the driver seat stays forward but the passenger seat will not stay.
I have the same problem with that sicky piece of fabric between the plastic cover and the leather. I have fixed it twice. The next time it happens I will remove it.

Yup, me too
Try leaving the seat(s) in question propped forward overnight. This might stretch the material enough that it doesn't want to flip back so easily.
I noticed mine right at delivery, but didn't think it sufficient to delay picking up the car... it has improved since then, though, hence my stretch theory...

Easy fix. The seat back comes off and you can re-line the seat back with new adhesive backed material if you wish. Most upholstery shops would probably sell you as much of this stuff as you want for cheap.
