gorgeous CL65 CHEAP as dirt on ebay
A 5.0 mustang is over $30k new
I would confidently say this AMG with 100k miles is just as good as the 5.0 with 10k miles
I recently saw a 28k mile CTS-V 2010 and a 2009 GT500 at a dealer recently Caddy dealer-I will tell u that both those cars interiors were wearing down and the cars were noise boxes inside-to my surprise the CTS was loose as a goose and inside and drove like a train wreck
I don't care if this car had 200k miles- it is an incredible car..and if i had the space i would buy it in a second just to have as a spare 65
I have a CL65 and I know the cars well enough to say that they are incredibly cool looking and performing and very reliable and a fool who thinks they are miserable money pits just do not take care of their cars...

Compare that to a Gallardo or LP640 or a 997 or a Aston Martin or Ferrari. Those cars which are less powerful will cost u 3 times the loot to keep your whip on the street. So a AMG 65 is a steal of a deal for those who are smart enough to realize it.
I have had nothing but dependability and great times with my 65's of past and the one I have now with over 100k miles
I recently bought a 171k mile GS430 Lexus and it is in perfect condition
Miles are just a number when you buy quality cars with great materials to begin with. the original MSRP was $60k AND I paid $7500 for the car. Black on Black with nav and all options. It trumps any other car I saw and drove with 150k miles less on it and newer for around $20k. So i bought it on ebay.
)Great example of why buying a used car with an original high MSRP is wise.
MY sister just bought a Hyuandai Sonata 2011 with 22k miles on it for $20k against my advice.
The car's engine rattles and it is a piece of crap. the interior is wearing down already. Where as my 171k mile Lexus from 2003 which had a sticker of $60k when new still looks and runs like a new car. It is a much much better car then that Sonata my sister bought. And my 102k mile CL65 makes even the LEXUS look bad with no wear on the seats or anywhere and the paint and everything is awesome because it was a $200k car at one time.
So 100k miles on a car with an original MSRP of $200k and with superior engineering and quality from the time it was built is really a 10k mile car with a MSRP of say a $25k car. In simple terms you get what u pay for then u get so much more on a used car value. And those who pass on a 100k mile CL65 for a 5.0 or a Camaro will envy my car at the stop light and I will be laughing at their 1 million produced recyclable pony car.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I have talked to several Indy Mercedes shops and they all told me that 100k or 10 years and the cars will nickle and dime you to death. The motors will always be stout its the rest of the car around it that will start to fail and you'll end up spending 3-5k a year to maintain it. That's just what they told me so take it for what's its worth.
Later at the dealer.
"Looks like needs a new turbo on the right side and the tranny is slipping pretty bad sir. Is that cash or charge for the 10-15K repair job??"
"But muh stang only cost fifteen hunderd for a whole new bottom ay-und!!!!"

Also, he talks like a crusty old guy (at least RM did in the posts I read) but he's being referred to as "kid" and such. What's the poop? Inquiring minds want to know!

I am on my way to the store for some popcorn ...
Within minutes a Bullet in the shape of a Tractor with outrageous power from an implanted 65 V12TT swoops in and cuts that GRASS down. The food chain has just been broken and AMG owns the land.
History prevails- there was once a guy named Lamborghini who built the best tractors of the land. He hated his FERRARI and decided to build himself a more dependable car with the looks to match.
OUR 65's HAVE no equal and they are in a class of THEIR own. Much more limited and mundane to the common people who see it but to us car guys they should be considered the pinnacle of what a daily driven SUPER car should represent.
A 65 should NEVER FALL to grace and end up being considered JUST another Benz or "The car who the store clerk got stuck with". It is a work of art.
I know many many GTR owners and GT500 owners and etc. Almost all have rebuilt or had major mechanical issues with their cars after heavy modding.
MARKO with Speeddriven has proving to the world our engines do not break and will not and cannot be categorized as a unreliable piece of junk.
** I will tell you this. After spending a week with Ryan in California. Those who have ABC issues I can see why. The roads in California are hideous and I will never buy or own another AMG from that state. Plenty of potholes and bad roads throughout the state just shows me why guys out there are having ABC problems. Here on the southeast side I have had not one friend who has a ABC issue and I know over 10 with AMG's. I also have a few friends who live in Las Vegas where my car came from and they too have had no ABC problems. Word of advice DO NOT BUY A AMG FROM CALI or New York. Unless you do want a headache with suspension problems.
To my fans

To my AMG65 brothers

To my car which is king of the road and under the bonnet the BIGGEST **ck of any production car. 800 ft. lbs of stock torque

But yes, compared to a true sports car like a Ferrari 430 or 458 or basically anything from Lambo, it's not. You would need to compare to a SLS, if at all.
Also, Charly, my CL has been less maintenance than my W210 E55 and similar to my CLK. I would recommend one!

vividautogroup, the seller on ebay of that car, is actually RM, who got banned, and then changed to some other online name, that also got banned, who is now silverbullet65 (who hopefully will get banned shortly).
Don't buy a car from CA because of the potholes and bad roads? WTH are you talking about dude?
You need to stop trying to convince everyone how amazingly cheap and reliable an AMG Mercedes with ABC suspension is to own. You own them for a short time, and I've proven in the past via a VMI on one of your cars that you exaggerate the reliability of your cars. Why, I do not know, you have some strange compulsion to come on here and make ridiculous claims in your folksy style. But someone is going to take your false advise and end up with a huge bill.
Me, I sell cars and warranties. I am always one to say there are some reliable ones, some not reliable ones, and ones in the middle. I also say that many times you can buy one with higher miles, that has had tons of stuff replaced already, that is a better car to own than a newer lower mile car that has not had tons of stuff replaced.
But when I say these cars are expensive to own and repair, I speak from long term knowledge of claims with hundreds of them under various plans. You don't.

I don't understand what you are talking about, to be honest.

I am in process of purchasing a CLK55 05 hopefully won't break my legs. CL is a beautiful car no doubt but heard a lot of horrible stories about maintenance specially CL65 AMG. I think i been in this forum too often to get scared
Yes CA just has bad roads and it takes a toll on the suspensions. I have seen many cars from there and when i was there that were beat to hell. Infact the many friends I have there are always at the shop. The 3 cars I bought from CA were all VMI'd to death on ABC. So yes I would say what a car is driving on makes a huge difference on the suspension in the long run. Anybody will agree that a 4x4 is meant to be off road and a AMG is built for smooth roads of refinement. its common sense.
Also I would stop continuing to relate me to RM or whoever and referring me to a banned state--unless you want a very interesting web site dedicated just to you?

We need to all be friends- this isn't prison
I am not a dealer and I have had real time and real miles on my cars to hold experience in my opinion.
I don't know about RM but I can tell u i have owned a lot of AMG'S and exotics and I am not a dealer so they were driven often and with many miles put on them. The current CL65 I own I have over 30k miles on it and it is over 100k now. And still no abc ISSUES and before that it was a Nevada car and it had only one strut replaced according to the VMI and that was around 20k miles. Since i have owned my car it has been great and outside of maintenance items it hasn't cost me anything. My first AMG was a E55 and outside of a issue with the fuel pump which was under warranty it was perfect the 32k miles I put on it. It was also a lemon law car. I have owned may more S65'S within my family. I BUY THEM and my brother and sister drive them. NOT one has giving me an ounce of trouble. I have put brakes and coils and etc but NO ABC related parts. I also have many many friends who own these cars who also claim to have the most reliable performance car they have owned. I have owned a 140k S55 and a 189k S600 and the list goes on. Again I will say I have been more then pleased with the cars. I always keep my cars in ABC SPORT mode and I do not run over potholes and drive my cars like a F1 Indycar. That saying might make a difference on why I have had a little better luck then others. And I do not buy anything from CA. or New York!!!
So I am not selling them or selling u on them. I can just say that AMG didn't skip a beat on building a $200k car with parts designed and manufactured in sweat shops in INDIA and they deserve a lot of credit for building a supercar that can see 100k-500k miles without a list of problems going wrong with them. I have yet to see a high mileage Ferrari or Lambo or Bentley without a ton of things wrong with them. I have owned 3 Bentley GT's and other exotics and they were all not pleasing to deal with at the repair shop. Bentleys are hopped up VW's and carry Phaeton parts bin items in the interior. For the idiot buying a 90k mile 2005 Bentley GT for $55k and not a CL65 for $30k are complete morons. Period
