2 thumbs up your car looks terrific! Those wheels really go good with your car.
Wheel choices are tough on a CL not many wheels look good on it. I don't like the op's wheels at all. But to each its own. I will always rock the stock wheels on my 65 because I don't think any other wheels look better than them.

Most will tell you to start with a Euro Charged Tune, Pully and Cooling mods
This is a great site that they hang out at also

Your choices of mods are similar to mine. As for performance upgrade, I went with a bigger pullies, ECU Tune, K&N drop in filters, Deleted rear cats and resonator with X-Pipe all the way back keeping the AMG mufflers. The sound is amazingly brutal. Painted Yellow calipers with AMG logos. Lowered on links and I am forgetting a couple of other things. My memory is not that well these days...

Looks good I almost went with those wheels. If u get the ecu or dyno tune. Am I messing with the emissions? That's a big problem here in Cali please advice

I recommend the following to start with since it's cheap and quick:
•Resonator delete (Make sure to have them replaced with high quality straight pipes to avoid drone)
•Replace intercooler (Even if yours works fine)
•AFE filters (These breathe beter than Green and K&N in my experience)
After that you might want to do the following:
•ECU Tune
•SC upgrade
•Crank Pulley upgrade
•Headers
I'm going to be doing an SLR spec engine upgrade on mine since the 55K is basically a down tuned SLR engine, you can get quite a lot out of these engines though with the right tuning

Doing an ECU tune will not mess with the emissions, even delete the secondary cats and resonator will not mess with it. As long as you don't take out the ones you have on the front. Our cars have 2 front cats and resonator and 2 rears, when deleting the rears you still keep intact the O2 sensor in the front. Now, if you put on long tube headers, for sure you will not pass.
As for the wheels, they are not bad for the price. I used to have multipiece wheels and they would crack on me since, I drive it pretty bad roads. I felt so bad for my Brabus Monoblock III's. I don't mind the one piece wheels, they are pretty much all the same these days. I use to work for a wheel manufacture and most cast wheels brand name or not are made all the same way.
I forgot to mention about, one important thing to upgrade is your intercooler pump. The stock Bosch is junk, you can get a couple of hard pulls then your car will go into limp mode shutting the supercharger off for a bit to save it from damaging the engine. I upgrade to a Johnson CM30 pump. I took my car the drag strip and had back to back pulls with no problems.
To bad all the CL guys are not local to each other, it would be kick *** to have one big CL meet. Imagine seeing 10 or more CLs gathering.

Definition of Hater:
A person that develops a strong dislike for another, solely basing their own opinion on personal judgment rather than objective merit....
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hater
************************************************** ****************
Agree people have different taste in things. In my opinion the rims seem very plain and cheap... Appear to be those cheap euro 63 replicas. Now i didn't go searching for cheap rims and posted a picture of them.... this is towards 1995 cab and all the haters that commented.
As a persons that acknowledges the definition of a "hater" i won't not do that. With that said I feel my wheels are nice and get many compliments everywhere i go. Now keep in mind I'm not throwing a the racist card in this also.
Besides this i bet ill smoke ya haters!!! lol

Come on guys, we are all here just for fun. No need to compete with each other. It would be great to actually get all of on the board to meet with our cars. One big CL meet, then we can just joke around in person.

But please educate yourself on the V12TT platform, before spewing nonsense like this. Cab's tuned CL600 would rape your cute little CL55 sideways.
It takes a heavily modified 55K car, to even have a puncher's chance against a tune-only V12TT, of the same platform.
