Reliability and 65vs63
My E had close to 100K miles when I sold it. I had absolutely no issues with it. I hear CL's have more issues..
How many miles have you clocked? What have you needed?
I'm sure you're partial to 65 but +/- on 63 vs. 65

Much more maintanence on the CL Class over an E. And they maintenance is 3X the amount more for a CL, let alone a 65 series CL. The closest cost of maintenance to your car is probably the SLR or a Black Series SL lol. Amazing cars through

The 63 had 30054 when I sold it with no issues. The 65 had 30046 when I got it in March and now has a little over 33000 on it now. Had a CEL problem when I got it......when taken on the highway and opened up, CEL would trigger and car would go into limp mode. This happen every two weeks for the first month, month and a half that I owned it.
Would take back to dealer (3X's under warranty) and had coil pack replaced, valve cover gasket replaced, corrosion build up removed, etc. Got tired of that fast.....took it to the dealer where the 63 was serviced, shop foreman connected to the computer and said "you know there's a software update for this car?" " No I didn't....why didn't those clowns see it?"
Updated the software and problem never came back. Need to replace front pads and rotors at this time but no problems since then.
Really miss the nimbleness of the 63 (the 65 weighs in at 5800 lbs. + my 200+ lbs.), but adjusting to the 65.

5 speed is plenty for the 750 pounds tq of the v12 tt.
The 7 speed has two advantages (which I don't care about much)- slightly better fuel economy and marginally better acceleration at speeds over 120-140.
