Coding Side Marker Lights out with SDS
If you know how to disable the side marker lights in developer mode, could you please assist me so I don't get the warning light on the dash (it is all in German)? I have Compact 3 and Compact 4 versions of STAR to utilize.

I will look when I get home and can access my SDS.
I believe you need to set the region to one that does not utilize the side markers, however this will also change other aspects of the programming.
Everything in developer mode is indeed in German.

My S55 software may be much different than yours but this is what I came up with.
I went exploring in the star, went in to the front sam, than adaptions, there was a option listed some thing like national some thing or other ATA. that option let me recode the sam under ROW like the other post mentioned, now the markers are disabled and no more error message.

Was anything else on the car affected? I have heard changing it to ROW might also cause other changes on the car.
