Car vibrates between 2-3000 rpm.
Remove pan under motor
Put oil pand or other large pan under Air cell
Use a 24mm wrench (try to find a thing profile one to make it easier)
Loosen Air Cell (pulsation dampener) slowly (may still have pressure)
Put new one on
top off lost hydraulic fluid.
And thats about it.
does the car raise when your put it into reverse or drive, after its been sitting for a day?
Do you notice the car leaning to one side after its sat for a while?
It could be many things, i guess ill search the forums for your post.
If your pump raises and lowers the car with out any problems then its most likely the valve block
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Possible culprits would be:
Pulsation Dampener
Engine Mount
Transmission Mount
Flex Disc
The engine mount will leak when bad but it doesn't mean that just because the are not leaking they are good. The engine mounts are relatively cheap so is the tranny mount. I would change both if its been a while.
Engine Mount:
FEBI or Meyle $55-75
Part Number 230 33133 280
Transmission Mount:
Meyle $20-$24
Part Number 232 33019 500
Flex Disk Kit:
FEBI $133
Partnumber 428 33044 280
It will really help if you check to see exactly when the vibration occurs and how profound it is.
Good Luck,

I let service advisor know that it was probably engine, trans mounts and pulsation damper. She looked up and said "how did know about those issues"
Anyway, it was all three and I want to Thank all of you for helping me " guide " her to fix the right problems. Car will be back tomm.
That single part is one of the most often overlooked causes for vibrations on these cars.
We are all here to help each other, correct and accurate information helps best.
God bless

I would like to here how the pulsation dampener is in the mix concerning
this conversation. I think if the dampeners were inop shock transfer from the wheels / tires could be an issue but how much in this situation. I would like to here more about this.

The sudden acceleration and deceleration of fluid by the pump in the suspension system causes pulsations. The Pulsation Dampener absorbs pressure spikes and smooths out the fluid that is being pumped.
It filled with nitrogen and hydraulic fluid(the two are separated by rubber, when this leaks the nitrogen is gone (which is compressible) and it fills with hydraulic fluid which is not compressible. This leads to a whole host of problems the main being stiff suspension and vibrations.
I hope I explained that well.

Ill just post this from service report
Original Customer Request
INSTALL UPDATED ABC PULSATION DAMPENER (FOUND ABC PUMP MAKING NOISE AND VIBRATING AT LOW RPMS)
REPLACE ENGINE MOUNTS (FOUND MOTOR MOUNTS AND TRANSMISSION MOUNT COLLAPSED UPON INSPECTION CAUSING VIBRATION IN CABIN AREA)
REPLACE TRANSMISSION MOUNT (FOUND MOTOR MOUNTS AND TRANSMISSION MOUNT COLLAPSED UPON INSPECTION CAUSING VIBRATION IN CABIN AREA)
So maybe dampener ( updated part) stops pump itself from vibrating.
