Angry Power loss after motor gets hot, cycling key fixes it.. Supercharger deactivated?

Went out and drove the car hard for a while today and the power is very nice, but after doing some fast starts and accelerating hard for a short while, the car loses alot of power. It's not going into limp mode, just deactivating the supercharger clutch. (I'm sure that's the problem, since my supercharger clutch makes a bit of a sound when it engages)

So I pulled over, turned the engine off and then right back on again, and drove away. Power as normal now.

What is causing this? Water temp gauge reads right in the middle, perfectly normal.

This is a bit frustrating, any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks guys!

Intercooler pump is most likely dying. That's my bet.

Should I replace it with a stock pump or upgrade to a Johnson CM30 Intercooler Pump?
Or is there a better pump that you guys recommend?

Thanks!

I replaced mine with the new Bosch stock pump that flows more. The CM30's are hit and miss and are not plug and play. The Bosch is plug and play.

Can you give me the part # for the increased flow pump you used? Seems like an easy DIY install, yeah?

Thanks for the help man, I appreciate it!

Did you install it correctly and not get air in the system?

IT's SELF BLEEDING.

The air automatically bleeds off into the overflow tank.

You have to bleed E55's, because they have a different setup, but not CL55's.

I'm uploading a video for you to watch I just made... I'll post it in a few minutes.

No play in the clutch but I do have a little "squeltching" sound when the SC clutch activates. I assume it's time for a new belt..

How hot is the car getting? Maybe time for a radiator flush and refill?
The ECU seems to sense if there's a heat problem and shuts down the fun. One of my next mods will for sure bee the big heat exchanger.
