rotors and pads.. alternative or good source

So I need rotors and pads on the front.
Don't want to skimp on quality but the dealer quoted me $1600 and inam sure I can either source genuine parts cheaper elsewhere or find a comparable set somewhere else.
Thoughts/links ?

Thanks guys

That is way too much. I'll get you a quote tomorrow with some cross drilled Brembos and Akebono pads. We have a one year warranty on parts and labor. P/M me your number and I'll give you a call or text tomorrow with a quote after tax. We also offer a shuttle service and loaner cars if you schedule in advance.

I'm running Textar rotors in the rear, and they're definitely up to OEM quality. Get Akebono Euro Ceramic pads and thank me later. Zero dust and extremely quiet.

Thanks

I think based on feedback I've seen it has to be akebono (how do you pronounce that?) pads.
not seen the textar rotors anywhere yet though.

I wish there was aftermarket support for the CL65's in regards to the brakes. You CL55 guys have it easy and cheap incomparison.

Well Alex (Layzie above) has hooked me up with some Akebono pads and Zimmerman rotors which should be saving me around $600.
Hopefully getting them done on Friday.

Love this forum !

Thanks Alex
