Hi all, can anyone please advise. my Cl600 2003 has started displaying warning on dash when the car has been used and then switched off. When restarting car after a few moments the warning appears on dash, and the car feels to ride harder on suspension and the raise up feature does not work, leave the car off for a couple of hours and the fault clears. A new ABC pump was fitted 4 years ago at 50,000 miles, now at 85,000. Cheers.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Go to your nearest dealer or indie mechanic and get them to pull the codes. If the car isn't raising up when you push the button, then its not looking good.

Most likely a hose leak, which can cause the dash to have that come up.
Check the undercarriage for the hose located by the transmission going from left to right.
Do not drive the car as if the pump goes dry, your going to have to replace it again.
I had my hose custom made from a shop (very cheap $80-100) and its really good quality, better then oem.
Once I had my hose fixed, I had to refill with abc fluid and bleed the system since air can get in. After a night, the car stopped raising up, and I thought my pump was gone, but then a friend recommended to force pressure the pump via the reservoir and it worked! Ran the rodeo test and the pressure was stronger then before.
Never had a problem since.
Total bill was $100 for hose, $80 for labour, $29 for fluid, $80 more for bleeding/rodeo.
Hope that helps, good luck.
